Ember Bowman’s life is, in short, chaotic as of now. One of the many runaways that have escaped to Harbor City, she discovered her meta-human abilities not so long ago. Ember is trying to control them while also taking care of her group of younger runaways, acting as their guardian; pretty much expected for the oldest member with the weird powers. While dealing with her new responsibilities she’s also attempting to discover where she belongs in the world now, since all of her previous aspirations of a normal college life have been swept out from under her feet.
Friends:
Despite her runaway status, Ember likes having friends. She’s close with the people she’s travelled with and welcomes most people that come into her circle; though she isn’t quick to trust. With Ember it’s a simple concept; be kind to her and others and she’ll return the action. She is protective of the people she cares about, and allows anyone to lean on her if they need support. It’s not hard to be her friend, just don’t betray her. Once that happens, there is a slim chance she’ll give forgiveness, and an even slimmer chance she’ll ever let them into her life again.
Enemies:
Not many; Ember was a normal teenager up until now, with her only ‘enemies’ being people she disagreed with in school, and even less in college. This has the potential to grow since the emergence of her powers; Ember has been taking care of criminals that threaten her or others on the streets. She isn’t a hero, not yet at least, and she highly doubts that she’ll ever have a mortal enemy to face off against. Of course, she is beginning to accept that the unexpected happens to her, and having enemies has become highly probable.
Lovers:
For her, this is uncharted territory. Ember has had her fair share of crushes and gone on dates, but hasn’t really had a long term partner. It was never a huge concern, and has gone even further down on her list of important things she needs to accomplish. It doesn’t help that she’s oblivious to interest, focusing on the more pressing parts of her daily life. She isn’t uninterested in dating, but until she meets someone that really grabs her attention relationships are on the back burner.
