A black blur has been spotted in various cities around the world. Wherever the black blur has been, the dead have risen shortly thereafter. Also at this time, the deputized Lantern Corps rings are seeking out their bearers |

The Black Lanterns have risen. The dead are seeking out those they knew in life in order to rip out there still beating hearts to feed. Those that are killed are reborn as Black Lanterns. Wrecking havoc wherever they can, it's up to the newly deputized Lanterns to protect civilians and also protect themselves from resurrected friendsand foes looking to settle old scores.
