age. 17 Anti-Villain
-------------------------------------------------------------------
ALIAS(ES): Terminal
BIRTHDAY: April 21, 1998 (17)
BIRTHPLACE: Dakota City, USA
CURRENT: Bludhaven
FAMILY:
• Mother: Amy Hooke, age 41
• Father: Sheldon Hooke, age 44
ALLIANCE: The Light
RANK: None
WEAPON: None
POWER: Body Manipulation – Terminal can control every aspect of his own body, down to cellular and genetic functions. He can recover or grow new tissue, bones, blood, etc. This makes him nearly impervious to injury, toxins, illness and aging.
Body Mutatation – Terminal can use the above ability to grow new limbs and body parts (or modify existing ones) as needed, up to and including arms, legs, claws, eyes, etc. Although they will eventually die from exposure unless contained, Terminal’s severed body parts and cells can be controlled remotely.
Body Infection – As an extension of the above powers, Terminal can still control his own cells if they are in the body of another person. This allows him to manually inject his opponents or allies and have his cells either attack (extreme sickness) or assist (temporary recovery) accordingly. This ability is less-effective on cyborgs and aliens. With focus, Terminal is able to cure other people of disease in many cases.
BLOOD TYPE: Any
ORIENTATION: Bisexual
PET: None
MENTOR: Lex Luthor
SCARS AND MARKINGS: Several scars and bruises become apparent all over his body when Terminal is weakened. However, he is able to hide them and give himself a ‘smoother’ appearance under normal circumstances. By his own admission, he is quite ugly until he ‘puts on his face’.
COLOR(S):
UNIFORM: if your character has a special uniform tell us about it
DESCRIPTION: 5,7’’, 136 lbs, Blue Eyes, Dark Brown Hair
PLAY-BY: Iwan Rheon

Fear: The remission of his cancer being compromised ; he also fears contracting any disease that he can not rid himself of or at least fend off. Generally, he fears being alive yet unable to live life, if that makes any sense. Having been granted a taste of freedom, he fears being bed-bound again above all else.
Desire: To cure the world and have fun doing it. He wants to indulge in all of the earthly pleasures he never thought he would get a chance to enjoy. This includes less than savory things such as vices and what some may call ‘sinful activity’.
HABITS: It’s not uncommon for Terminal to subconsciously control his endocrine system to release hormones that sedate or otherwise intoxicate him. Because he is immune to external drugs and alcohol, his own reprieve is to intoxicate himself. He favors manipulating his own canibinoid receptors in order to emulate being stoned. This can happen autonomously at times when he is stressed or afraid.
PET PEEVE: Terminal can not stand smokers, mostly due to the fact that they are endangering other people around them. Specifically, he takes issue with second-hand smoke, or anything really, that causes potential long-term harm to otherwise innocent people. Terminal has little tolerance for violent criminals and sexual predators, but is mostly unconcerned with petty thieves. He is also bored by politics and the media. Terminal is also annoyed by prudes and needlessly judgmental types, especially the religious.
STRENGTHS:
OPTIONAL
•Terminal is extremely flexible and agile. He is double jointed in every way possible and can easily dismember and contort himself as the situation requires without permanent damage. Terminal can also disable his pain receptors at will.
•Terminal’s one and only power he had prior to Luthor and Cadmus’ experimentation was that his cells apparently would never reach the Hayflick Limit; this means that that can multiply nearly indefinitely. However, prior to the experiments, Terminal had no way of controlling his cells and is thusly still learning to do so properly.
WEAKNESSES:
OPTIONAL
•Terminal has yet to master his powers and thus cannot shape-shift completely. He can only exhibit varying degrees of mutation. This means he cannot go incognito in the same way Miss Martian or Martian Manhunter might. He is also currently unable to emulate the anatomy or cellular structures of aliens or metahumans. This means he cannot reproduce the genetic make-up of a Kryptonian nor of other Cadmus experiements in order to copy their powers. This limitation applies to animals as well. This means he cannot alter his body to allow him to breath underwater indefinitely, but he could potentially grow fins to increase his swimming speeds.
•Using his abilities, Terminal is only able to increase his own strength, durability and speed to only slightly above that of peak-human. Additionally, he can only heal himself and others while he is in his base form.
•While resistant to chemical toxicity and most drugs, certain anti-bodies and isotopes have the ability to neutralize Terminal’s cells, both in himself and in others. This can be a cure for his enemies and a detriment to his allies. The product “T-Gen” developed by Lex Luthor has the ability to suppress Terminal’s powers as well as sedate him. A high enough concentration of this has the potential to kill Terminal. Likewise, although he has better resistances than most, nanotechnology will resist his antibodies as well.
•Although he can pull himself together after the most heinous of physical injuries, Terminal does have limits. Without sustenance, his powers will eventually fail, making him vulnerable. Additionally, although he is almost completely immune to the effects of exposure, extreme heat or cold are by far his biggest weaknesses. Extreme heat can destroy his cells faster than he can replace them and extreme cold can freeze him. Although Terminal can survive being frozen and thawed out, he cannot use his powers in this state. The surest way to kill Terminal would be to incinerate or otherwise destroy him on a cellular level. Acid or fire are most effective.
•Terminal is a close-range fighter with little formal training and other than mutating himself to increase his range, does not usually carry any long range weapons. He can fire biomaterials from himself at enemies, but these are ineffective at best against armored, super-human or inorganic enemies.
TRAITS: Terminal’s resistance to injury and fast healing rate has left him confident to a fault. While he never claims to be a great fighter, his attitude relies heavily on the fact that he knows he can survive virtually anything, certainly anything any common person can dish out. Being able to disable pain receptors does not help with humility. He also knows that he is doing the work of Lex Luthor and the Light, and takes pride in knowing that he is following a higher purpose. Having saved hundreds of lives in mere weeks, “The Living Wonder Drug” has been a PR dream come true for the Light, Cadmus, and Lexcorp. Terminal didn’t even try to stop this from going to his head. He uses his meager celebrity to bed men and women alike as well as receive perks from the families of those he’s saved, things most heroes would frown upon.
Terminal is fiercely loyal to Lex Luthor, and by extention the Light. He has complete confidence in his mentor and views the League as the ones who are hiding things instead of the other way around. As far as he is concerned, Luthor saved his life, and by extension, the lives of everyone whom Terminal has cured. Despite distrusting the League, Terminal has witnessed first hand the heroics of The Team before getting his powers and acknowledges they seem to be somewhat less corrupt than the League itself. Although he has never met them personally, Terminal secretly has a crush on both Aqualad and Zatanna, while he is both jealous and a fanboy of Superboy and Match.
Terminal has no memory of the details of his life prior to Lex’s experimentation, other than the extreme fear of illness and impending death. Unknown to him, his parents were told that he is dead. Terminal knows that Luthor is not his father, but respects the man too much to ask about his past before becoming Terminal.
