people are always asking me if i know Match. Meet the latest Champion in the Dark Side Club, and the Shadow Squad's newest recruit. He isn't the mindless rage machine Superboy put on ice and left behind those years ago. Genetics engineering, and Luthor Tech Nanites have changes all that. Now Match is a dangerous and calculating individual. He's the heavy hitter for the squad and does what he can to further the Light's goals as he owes them or more specifically Lex Luthor for his stability and new lease one life.
Friendship is a foreign concept for him. To Match there are only allies working towards a mutual goal or you are not worth his time. Either you are useful to further his goals or you are useless. The Squad would be the closest to friends he'd have but even then considers them more allies than anything else. (Though I would be open to broadening his idea on this concept)
Anyone standing in his way of his objectives or plans would fall under this category.
No sense, no use, no thanks.
This is another concept to Match he just doesn't see the point or advantage of. While stranger things can happen, this one would be a hard sell. (Not saying absolutely not, but it'd have to make sense for him to even consider someone in this type of a role)
Open for any type of thread. Hit me up and we'll hash something out.

Bad Boys, Bad Boys, What Ya going do?
Sorry couldn't resist lol But seriously for some reason I imagine these to as quite the vitriolic friends. They might snipe, snark, and upon occasion threaten to kill each other other for various reasons but when it comes down to it,they may also be the closest either of them has to a friend. Besides with the S-squad being mostly ladies, bros gotta stick together right? Sticking with the motif, I also imagine them getting into situations like this when "off the clock" and if you've got the muse i say we get them into one of those situations You picking up what I'm putting down? Anyway, that's what I have off he top of my head any thoughts you have/ threads you might want to get into would be appreciated Play me out!

That's perfect. I definitely see a unique yet vitriolic friendship between them and that scene LOL! I definitely see something going down like that. Either on their 'off times' or even 'on duty' as they are getting arrested/apprehended by the authorities they flow effervescently from their caustic banter with one another to flipping that switch and suddenly their hostility turns towards those that interrupting their 'friendly banter', all hell breaks loose the bust heads as violence ensues and as the dust settles they walk away and pick up where their original argument left off at leaving a pile of death and destruction behind like it was nothing lol! So yeah while it often does seem that the two don't get a long and often snark at one another, at the end of the day, when the chips are down I would think they'd have each other's back because there'd be that mutual respect and like you said; the closes either of them have to a friend...It's strange, it's complicated but meh, it's as real as it gets. So yeah I'm down with this and getting into said linked situations off the clock like you mentioned. Guess that means I am picking up what you're putting down Let's make this bad boy happen!

So! I think Match may get the esteemed honor of being the first member of the Shadow Squad that Safira doesn’t really get on with. And that would be her own fault. Early on, I think she would have made the general assumption that Match is a meathead; all brawn and no brains. Obviously that’s not really true, but Safira would be the type to continuously make sly comments and tease him for it.
Angering a super can’t ever go down too well…
Thoughts?

LOL! Awesome, bring on the snark. Though Safira might be surprised at the fact that Match doesn't share Connor's aptitude to pounce angrily at anything that annoys him. He's actually more controlled in that aspect and less likely to actually show an immediate trigger or response, though don't be surprised if later on he throws a few choice remarks her way probably more in line with a backhanded compliment or condescending remark. I think in this respect Match would probably also be trying to get a rise out of her as much as she tries to rile him.
