A slight smirk crossed her lips, it wasn't one out of humor, instead it was cold. "Be careful, Oliver. Your starting to sound like one of us" it was almost cute how he was trying to find a reason to justify this, it also made her wonder if the Emerald Archer wasn't as straight and narrow like he had always seemed. Roy was the one that was rough around the edges, he was the one that took more short cuts in how he did things regarding the law and what was right but maybe this is where he learned it from.
"Does it matter?" the smirk was gone just as soon as it came "does that really make a difference to people like you? Look. Jade sighed, she had been here too long and she had to get back before someone noticed, if someone was looking and she was sure they were. "I didn't come here to argue the rights and wrongs with you, you have your side I have mine. I just came here for Roy, you're the last hope to talk sense into him. I don't care how just do it."

He really didn't want to sound like one of them, but it's not like he was Bruce, and refused to kill. He tried not to, but it had happened before. Still, he wasn't one of the League, he didn't kill just to kill, or kill for money. He killed when there were no other options left, and he didn't like to talk about it.
"And if you want me to talk some sense into Roy, a man we both love, then you're going to need to give me some sort of information," Oliver told her, "I'm not asking for names, or dates of...assassinations or anything like that, I'm just looking for a simple answer to a simple question, and then I can go to Roy, and this can be solved."

Jade narrowed her eyes slightly, she didn't liked being pressured into things and she wasn't going to start that now, she had given him the information he needed and only what he needed to know, the rest was unnecessary. "I told you all you need to know, if that's not enough for you then that's your problem, not mine. As far as she was concerned she was done with this discussion she had said all that needed to be said. The clock is ticking Oliver, if you want no part in this then fine but if you want to help your protege then I suggest you talk some sense into him quick and you do so with what I've told you because that is all you're getting from me.

Oliver was used to being put into tight spots, and he felt like he was pretty good at negotiating, but he knew that she wasn't going to budge on this. She wasn't some normal criminal that he could intimidate or work with, and he was just going around in circles at this point. He nodded, "Yeah. Ok, I'll go and see what I can do." He didn't want to just relent, but he had to.

There, that wasn't so hard was it? Jade was glad that Oliver finally agreed because he was truly her last ditch attempt to get Roy under control before something more unsavory had to happen but...now that he had agreed their meeting here was done, Jade didn't make a habit of hanging around heroes for longer than she had to...with a few exceptions of course but right now this was not one of them.
"Good luck." She began, stepping away from the tombstone she had been leaning on and walking over to where she had stashed the bag with her stuff in it 'you're going to need it." Jade was sure she didn't have to remind Oliver how difficult Roy could be, even if he had matured and grown a lot these past few years.
Bending down to grab her bag Jade slung it across her left shoulder and started walking off, she had to get back to her own work and a new city to move on to. last post is yours if you want it

He knew he'd need luck to convince Roy to do this. He didn't want to, but for Roy, he had to. He didn't want to see his friend be killed, but he knew that it was one death against so many more. But he had to put at least some faith in Jade to be killing people who weren't innocent civilians. He knew it was wrong, but Oliver had done a number of morally questionable things in the past. He was just going to add this sin to the ongoing list.
Oliver watched her depart, and then he too turned to depart the opposite direction.
