"If there is guys in red dresses then they will be Brother Blood cultists or Trigon followers. Both are creepy as hell with horrible horrible pick up lines." Rose smirked and shook her head "Cause stuff like 'My master wants you, but we should test you out first.' Is going to make a girl weak at the knees."
Taking out her phone she flicked through different screens before showing Tay a picture of a non-descript building. It could be any alleyway in any city by the look of it. The only thing that made it stand out was if you knew how to read the graffiti. Above the door was a crosshair type looking mark. Around the walls were symbols and signs that if you were not part of the business would just look like typical street art but here and there were things that only a certain type of people would get. For example, a League of Shadows symbol that proclaimed the place as safe haven. Mercs and assassins were to hold the place as a safe ground for their kind. A place they could drink and relax without worrying about the law or even each other.
"If you need more than that, I can give you GPS or physical location." Rose smiled softly, she was more than happy to give the location and would do so based on whatever Tay needed but it was also giving her information on how the assassin teleported. If she could teleport from just a picture then the implications for transport was massive. Just a picture and wham, they could be anywhere. Inside offices or secure buildings from security footage. Perhaps a little easy but the chaos that would cause as well as the huge rep boost would be worth it. "My dad took me there for my first drink years ago. Wow, that feels like forever ago. I'd be happy to show you the place though, its a great place to just down tools and chill out." Thinking about it Rose wasn't sure she had ever seen one of the League there but then that was sort of their gig, wasn't it? You don't get to see them, but they are there hiding in the dark. Now that was a kick ass reputation to have. "So drinks and stuff at Crosshairs? We can adopt it on behalf of the Squad, home away from home. If you like it, that is." Rose grinned, she was looking forward to this. Course she was wondering if she could get the other girl drunk, that would be a sight to see. People changed when they were drunk, usually letting out the 'inner' them for a bit before they headed to wrecked town. It was just a matter of getting Saffy to that nice sweet spot of intoxicated.

”…still not the worst I’ve heard”. Safira said with a slight smirk as Rose had detailed the lack of ‘game’ that the regulars of ‘Crosshairs’ apparently had. It wasn’t the worst line, but, still pretty bad. It was also quite intriguing to think some of those Brother Blood or Trigon wacko’s had time to hit on women. They never appeared like the type to do such a thing - the more you know.
Once Rose had flicked through the photos on her phone to find the right place. Safira would take hold of the electronic device, staring down at the glimmering screen of light. It was oddly nothing like Safira had imagined, in fact she wasn’t entirely sure where the bar was supposed to be. What she was expecting, was some rundown shack on the outskirts of somewhere with a load of bikes and trucks parked outside in a sporadic fashion. ”Got it”. Safira would respond with in reply. A smile apparent on the face of the portal-assassin as she proceeded to hand Rose back the phone. A GPS location or a map was a little much, the photo was sufficient enough.
”Well, now you can buy me my first drink on my maiden visit”. Saffy said with a playful smile. Of course, Safira was never one to do too much heavy drinking. She couldn’t, it would be a bad idea, a very bad idea. It was then that Safira threw out her right hand. From it shot teleportational energy that went on to form a portal nearby to them. It glowed pink, dimly, and in its centre was the faint image of the scene, almost exactly as how Rose displayed on her phone. A few changes here and there, the photo obviously being a little outdated. ”You know the drill…”. Safira would say with a slight roll of the eyes, gesturing for Rose to head through the portal first.

So the girl could portal from just a picture, good to know and damn handy. "First drink on me? I think I can deal with that." Rose chuckled as she stepped through the portal and out into the Chicago air. the sun was starting to go down and the night chill was pretty sharp. Looking up and down the alley before striding to the door and thumping on it in a very specific pattern. Three quick knocks, a pause and then another five quick knocks. With the viewing slot sliding open Rose gave her best smile to the guy behind the door. It was Ralph which was good for her and bad for anyone who wanted to cause trouble. Ralph was one of those massive men who set records in sheer size. While he looked intimidating as hell Rose knew he was really a softy at heart. He had looked out for her the few times she had drank way too much, made sure no one took advantage of her or worse.
"Hey Ralphy, long time no see." Rose said with a smile "How you been keeping?"
"Evening Miss Rose. I'm doing pretty good. Jennie started school and Betty got a job in an office." The man replied warmly but his eyes fell on the second female to appear in the alley.
"Holy crap, Jennie is at school already? Feels like yesterday she was crawling." Rose grinned and motioned to Safira "This is Saffy, she is with The League of Shadows but we're chilling tonight and figured I would take her to the best bar in the world. She's cool, I'm speaking for her."
Rose looked over her shoulder at the assassin and grinned. "Well as long as she follows the rules I ain't got no reason to keep her out. Agents of The Demon Head are welcome to drink here, management already got that covered." With the sound of several bolts sliding the door creaked opened, Rose entered quickly and motioned for Tay to do the same. No point drawing attention to the door, not that the law wasn't already bought off, it was just bad business sense. "You are a star Ralph. Say hi to your family for me." With a lean in she laid a kiss on the cheek on the huge man who was sitting on a bar stool. He was like a biker doubled in size, beard and long hair, denim jacket and boots. With a embarrassed motion he ushered the girls into the corridor toward another at the end. Behind that door was the soft thump of classic rock playing over speakers.

Safira would emerge from the portal a few seconds after Rose, and upon doing so did the portal collapse in on itself. Safira followed on behind Rose who went about gaining them entry into the assassin clubhouse. It seemed rather shady, more so when the viewing slot slid open and behind was the rather bold eyes of a bouncer. It seemed Rose knew this man, as small talk would follow. Safira stood behind Rose, to one side and simply smiled whenever the man looked towards her.
Clearly Safira hadn’t thought things through in regards to her outfit. The denim shorts and less than warm tank top did very little to provide resistance against the chilly Chicago air. Next time, it will be a puffy coat several sizes too big. ”Hi”. Safira said with a smile and a wave as Rose had mentioned her to Ralph. Obviously right now she didn’t quite look as one would expect for a League of Shadows member, it was probably for the best to leave Rose to do the talking. Eventually the sound of bolts could be heard as the door was unlocked to grant the girls entry. Once the door was open, Safira swiftly followed Rose, eager to get out of the cold.
In the distance, there was the loud thumping sound of classic rock. It was coming from what lay beyond the door at the end of the hallway. It was at this point that Safira showed reluctance for the first time tonight, stopping several yards away from the door they were destined to step through. ”Before we go in Rose, I need you to promise me something”. Safira would say, removing her baseball cap from atop her head and then running her other hand through her hair – just making it look a bit more presentable. ”I’m not saying that I will, but. If I do happen to get drunk tonight, you need to promise me that you won’t let me return to the League” Her tone and expression was much more serious now than ever before. It had been all fun and games up until now, but that needed to pause for a couple of moments.
”That just, can’t happen. It would be bad, and… I don’t know if Nyssa would be around to stop me doing or saying something stupid”. It was in reference to occasions gone by when Safira had found herself in an inebriated state. Needless to say, returning to the Demon when drunk was not a good idea. Couple that with not knowing whether there was anyone present at the League who would stop her doing something dumb, Safira had to trust Rose to stop her. It could be potentially be problematic; a drunken teleporter? Good luck with that. ”Shoot me in the leg, break an ankle, whatever. Just promise me you won’t let me go back to Ra’s drunk”. Safira would say with a level of intent about it. The League of Shadows meant everything to her, screwing up relations within the League was something that could not happen.

When the assassin stopped and gave her instructions Rose looked thoughtful before nodding. There was definitely a part of Rose that liked to watch peoples lives fall apart and the chaos that ensued but this wasn't like the usual times. This was a night out with an ally, she was trying to make a friend for once and that meant usual habits were out the window.
"Don't you worry Saffy. If you get drunk then I won't let you go home in that state." Rose looked a little thoughtful before adding "How about this? Instead of us partying and then heading our separate ways we just crash some place together. A hotel or even a safe house if it comes to it? We can watch each others back. So we get you tipsy and cut you off from the booze. Besides we don't need to be wrecked to have a good time."
Pulling the door open wide Rose stepped inside the massive room that was the main bar. It was very open plan, probably on purpose to avoid people hiding or being able to conduct business out of sight of the security or even each other. This was a haven for the merc and assassin community, work was to be left at the door. Breaking that rule was not worth thinking about, the judgement that would fall on the offender would be swift and from many sources.
Along one side of the room was the bar and several tables and chairs which held various patrons, some in costumes and others in plain clothes all just sitting about drinking. It was clear that the bar had groups that were together or avoided by the majority. Like the band of Trigon worshippers all decked out in their robes and gear. A few looked badly beaten up, the rest just looked dejected as they passed a pitcher of beer around to each other.
The rest of the area was either seats or sofas with tables nearby, arcade machines and slot machines interjected about the place as well as other bar games like darts or pool. At the furthest side to the door was the dance floor, which wasn't really getting used except for the lone Joker henchman clearly drunk with bottle in hand as he shuffled about in an attempt at dancing.
As Rose made her way down the stairs the music playing quickly shifted to ZZ Tops Legs which caused her to look at the booth the DJ was in. "Funny. Every frigging time. Ricky must be in tonight. He can be a bit of a pest. Kinda sleazy but I can't complain he tends to pay for my drinks and stuff when he is on. Make yourself at home though, Welcome to Crosshairs I guess?" Rose grinned and motioned to the place.

Safira waited keenly with Rose’s response. Fortunately it was the response that Safira had hoped for, with Rose offering some reassurance that she wouldn’t let Tay make a dumb mistake. Heck, there was even a plan in place, and a good one at that. ”That sounds good”. Safira would say, her smile returning with the reassurance given thanks to Rose. Who could refuse that invitation anyway? Of course the hotel would be the more favoured option. From experience, safe houses didn’t tend to be quite as comfortable.
”If you say so”. Safira added, her voice low in volume as she grabbed the door after Rose had stepped in. It was a response to Rose’s comment about not needing booze to have a good time – only nerds say that. Safira stepped into the place behind Rose, and before her very eyes was an assassin sanctuary. Rose wasn’t wrong in her earlier description, there were quite a few oddballs of display, littered about the place. Safira did shoot a gaze about the place, looking out for anyone she may know. But there wasn’t anyone, at least none she could see. It was quite a strange sight really, seeing all these people together in one place. Where else could you find a Trigon cultist sharing a drink with one of Bane’s henchmen?
”Admirer?”. Safira would say when Rose shot a look towards the DJ. There was definitely something there, though Saffy wasn’t sure what it was exactly – a schoolyard crush it seemed. Eventually they would find their way to some seats sat around a small table. Safira would take a seat, then looking back towards Rose. ”Not too bad… I was expecting a lot worse going by the company you said came here”. Anticipate the worst, and things can only be better. ”Go away, now”. Safira would say, not even shifting to look at the Brother Blood cultist that was gradually approaching their table. He scampered off after Safira had noticed him, probably not the most confident fellow as it is. ”Just to be clear, what are the rules? …this isn’t ‘Fight Club’, right?”.

"He thinks if he buys me with enough drinks, food and plays music that is supposed to flatter me that I will end up in his bed." Rose shook her head before holding up two fingers to the bar man "Thing is, at first I was kinda touched, like there was a guy that was interested in me but turns out he does it with every girl with a reputation. Think he has a danger fetish or something."
Turning her attention to the approaching man Rose smirked a little "Not your type? He is kinda in a dress." The Merc never really understood the wearing of robes outside of drying after a shower but definitely not for a fight. You would be tripping over your own feet almost constantly not to mention the tactical advantage you gave to your opponent. Now Rose wanted to stand on the edge of the robe and punch the guy to see if he rocked back and forth like those blow up kids toys.
"Rules, they are pretty simple. Keep your nose clean. don't conduct business in or around the building. Common sense stuff really. You break the rules and you can expect the whole clientèle to take offence. We need to police our own in here, helps keep the peace if you know everyone is wanting to have peace as well. Doesn't stop all the idiots but heh nothing ever does." Rose smiled at the waiter that placed the two bottles of beer on their table.
"So no fighting, definitely no killing." Rose smiled while lifting up her bottle "With that said, lets try and have a good night? I mean its just a bar, we're here to have fun and blow off some steam. You never know, maybe you will find a hook up like you usually do. Must be some hot girls around tonight. Or might be later. Will be interesting to see you seduce someone. See what sort of game you got." Chuckling she took a drink from her bottle before following up her previous train of thought "I mean what is your type and I can help you look. What sort of chick floats ya boat Saffy?" That was what normal people talked about, wasn't it? Boys or in this case girls and stuff like that? Rose wasn't really sure but hell she was gonna do her best to figure it out. This was a chance as some sort of normality in her life and she was going to grasp it best she could.

Those were some simple rules, rules that Safira could get on board with. Everyone from time to time needs somewhere where they can go, unwind and forget about work – even Assassins. Whoever came up with the idea must be rolling in cash, such an intense and stressful line of work, it can only be good for business.
Eventually the two girls were served their drinks; finally Safira thought to herself. She grabbed one of the bottles right away with a firm grip, her first drop of the liquor being a big one. As she drank, she listened as Rose seemed intent on finding her someone to hook up with. Ugh, a type. ”Type? I don’t… really have… a type”. For a simple hook-up, why bother restricting yourself with parameters? It never did quite make sense to Saffy. If someone, anyone, takes your fancy, then go for it. Simple as. ”I’m sure there will be one or two girls who enter that take my fancy, but. It’s unlikely that they’ll be girl-girls, if that makes any sense at all”. Safira said with a slightly confused look about her. Not entirely sure she herself made sense of what she said. ”Plus, I don’t need to hook up with someone to consider this a fun night”. She would add. Of course, they didn’t need to get wrecked to have a fun night. But here they were, now, drinking.
”And… I don’t need any help either – I’ve got game. You just worry about yourself, okay? Don’t need Ricky slipping you anything when you’re not paying attention”. Safira said with a chuckle. Ricky looked like the type who might, who knows? ”I’m guessing you have a type, right? Don’t tell me your only picky when it comes to clothes”. Safira would say as she lifted her bottle of beer up again off the table for another swig of the alcoholic beverage.

"I'm fussy about everything. Standards should be kept to. How else can I maintain my rep?" Rose grinned softly "I never really thought what sort of person I would end up with or want to be with. I mean, my dad terrifies everyone he comes into contact with. I can see that going well. 'Hey, yeah you are cute. Wanna go on a date? just a heads up, My father is Deathstroke. Hey, where you running too?!' "Rose sighed softly before swinging back in her chair. "I guess they would have to accept me and keep me interested in them. Which probably means borderline psychotic and crazy. Good body is a must. I work out non-stop, no way am I letting some lazy type anywhere near me."
Looking at the Dj booth Rose had a thoughtful expression "I mean its nice he makes an effort to seduce me, but I refuse to be a notch on some wacko's bed post. Maybe I will try and convert a hero type over to our side. That could be pretty fun and would probably earn my points with the bosses."
Turning her attention to the rest of the room before looking back at Saffy "So what is a girl-girl? You mean like a girl who likes girl or do you prefer to hook up with girlie girls? All pink and bouncy?" Rose burst out laughing for a moment before shaking her head "I guess all girls are pink and bouncy but you know what I mean. Princess types." With a nod she continued "you are right though, we don't need to get you a hook up. I just thought you might want one since that was your usual way to blow off steam. I was even gonna help you score."
Giving the room another look Rose frowned softly, how did you tell what sex someone liked? At times Rose wasn't even sure which she preferred but that wasn't the issue this evening. Tonight was about bonding with her team mate and enjoy themselves. So for Rose that meant a couple of drinks and then some dancing. Tay it seemed usually just picked up a random girl and did the bump and grind. Well Rose could at least help expand that to more activities. At least add a couple of new ones to the assassins list if nothing else.

Rose so knew what Safira meant – girls who like girls. Sure, they could be the ‘princess’ type should they like. It may seem harsh, but Safira only cared for what they were like in the bedroom. So long as they look good, and perform well, Safira didn’t really give two poops about their personality. Maybe it was a sad way to think on things, oh well.
”Wow, never thought of that… bringing someone back home to meet Deathstroke”. Of course Safira had only ever worked with Deathstroke a handful of times. And she too got that vibe of being terrified by him. It had to be the mask coupled with all those slight movements, without it, he’s a teddy bear… right? ”I guess that’s a benefit of being unwanted”. Safira would say with a smile before taking another drink of her beer. A lot of people would find that really depressing, but it wasn’t. Safira was completely fine with her situation. She had no family strings attached, and it was for the best.
But then something dawned on Safira. It wasn’t about having a father or a mother that you bring someone home to. It was about having a family to bring someone home to, a family whose approval you are looking to gain. Safira had a family. ”Though I guess anyone I meet, would eventually have to meet my family; the League. Imagine that, you go to meet someone’s family and you’re greeted with several dozen hooded killers…”. It wasn’t something that filled Safira with much confidence. ”…and a couple hundred years old Demon Head. If I was one of his daughters, I would just give up on the whole ‘dating’ scene. Deathstroke and Ra’s – that’s a tough crowd to please”. God help those who seek to partner with their children.
”But anyway, I don’t think anything other than a physical relationship fits our line of work. I couldn’t do what I do if I had someone to go back to each night”. Safira would say, lifting the bottle of beer to drink from it again. But before she did, she spoke up again. ”Could you? I mean, we potentially walk that tight rope dangling on the edge between life and death each time we step outside. You’ve got to be fearless when faced with it, having feelings for someone… I just think it would make that tight rope walk a lot harder”. Then came the sweet taste of alcohol.

"Well you certainly are a glass half full type of gal huh?" Rose smirked softly and took a long drink from her bottle "Sure, commitment would bring all sorts of issues but the idea of finishing a job and knowing someone was there to help you chill out and cared about you like that. Just cause we have a tough life I don't see why we should restrict ourselves. Face it, we are frigging impressive at what we do. So if we can be that good, why can't we have everything we want? I mean even my dad fell in love a couple of times. Wouldn't be here otherwise."
Rose was pretty damn sure her parents were in love, it made no sense otherwise. Why else would they have hooked up, or him to keep coming back. Sure, it caught up to them just like Tay was saying and it had got her mother killed but all that meant was you didn't leave anyone alive who could harm those you care about.
"If we don't care about people, we're gonna grow old and lonely Saffy. You really want us to be a pair of crazy cat ladies moaning about how young assassins have no respect now a days?" Rose shook her fist in the air for comic effect before running her hands along the shaved sides of her scalp "Don't you want to be more than the job sometimes? Maybe its different for you cause you are part of a group, you guys all that that bond and shared life already. I work solo, party solo and do most things solo."
Rose smirked a little, she had worked out Tay had a dirty mind from the comments already made and if she was honest Rose enjoyed giving people mental images to ponder. Tease was a word Rose was very familiar with.
"I have high hopes for this team thing, maybe get used to having other like minded people around. Maybe meet someone cute and blam I get a fairytale romance. The proper kind, with blood and carnage. None of the Disney crap." Downing the last of her beer Rose pushed the bottle to the side and looked around the room "We need to find you a slinky dance partner, I need to find a decent looking goon. Then we can get our groove on."

An eyebrow raised at Rose’s mention of doing things solo. Oh, Saffy totally knew what she meant, or at least what was implied. Two could play at that game. ”Well, sometimes it’s more fun to play solo”. Safira paused then as she set the empty bottle of beer down on the table before continuing. ”It can be more satisfying”. Safira added with a playful smirk having appeared across her face. She figured with what Rose had said that she was on the exact same wavelength.
Some situations were better served being a solo act. In many ways, it offered a better sense of trust towards a contractor as there was no-one to speak with about working against the contractor. But then it also meant that if you were to fail, then the responsibility would fall upon one solitary person. That which can be harmful to one’s reputation – reputation that can be very important in the assassin line of work. Rose had made it seem as though working in a group was so much better. It wasn’t necessarily; it had its fair share of flaws as well. It’s much easier to think and rely upon yourself, but in a group there are others to consider; all with their own strengths and weaknesses. You had to be more accommodating, and perhaps even take a backseat of sorts.
Still, this wasn’t about work as much as it was about having someone around who cares for you. It was easy to see how working alone so often could give off the feeling of loneliness. No matter what, Safira always had the League there to return to, and that they cared for her wellbeing. Whilst there was no romantic connection within the League, the group feeling like family was enough. ”Still, I can’t see me ever holding down a romantic relationship. The League would make that difficult, and honestly… I see myself as part of the League for a long time to come. I’ve got them, not sure I need anyone else”. And to think; Safira had been part of the League for almost a decade and was only in her early 20s. A long and lengthy career was still ahead of her, as well as time for what she just said couldn’t happen to happen.
Then the conversation switched to the Shadow Squad, with Rose detailing a scenario reserved usually for children’s books. Safira couldn’t help but laugh at that one. ”Good luck finding Prince Charming in the Squad”. Perhaps the Hero Team is the one Rose needs to be looking at. ”I haven’t really met any ‘dudes’ on the team, yet. I’ve heard things, but, my guess is that they have some odd quirk to them. Not sure they would be the right material for your fairytale fantasy” ”Good luck trying with Deathstroke and the Light around though”. She added. That in itself was going to be its own challenge, but still. More power to Rose if she pulls it off.
Safira then turned her attention to glance around the place. There were many dark corners of the place, perhaps due to the company that typically inhabited the place. Darkness was a friend to these folks, and many probably felt more comfortable in the shadows. Safira certainly did. Though it did raise a few concerns when Rose mentioned them finding themselves some dance partners. ”Those guys and gals sat in the dark corners of this place… doesn’t feel me with any confidence of us finding me a dance partner… you might find a goon in the dark though”. Safira said, turning back to look towards Rose. Ugh, who knew what horrors stalked the dark places of the bar. Only people who had something to hide, and whilst the mystery can be alluring – they were more likely wackos. ”Another drink?”. Safira asked, a glance over towards Ricky for a moment as she figured they best take advantage of his bar tab whilst he’s still here.

"I don't need prince charming, just I dunno. Maybe I am being stupid about it." Rose frowned softly "I just want a bit more from life than contracts and missions. The idea of having someone to come back to base for, my dad had it. Twice that I know of. So if its good enough for him then its damn well good enough for me." There was an odd amount of stubbornness in her tone, part of Rose wanted to emulate her father to a very weird degree but the other part of her wanted to be something else, something better and something different.
"I can deal with quirky, hell that would probably be for the best. I get bored so easily, so wacky and weird is probably a good thing. Plus they would need to deal with my own baggage. I'm not exactly Miss Stable." The Merc was more than aware of the mental issues she had, Rose could never really tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing to be self aware of. The lust for violence only held back by a code that she wrapped herself in mixed with the years of psychological torture from her father did not make for a friendly mix when it was set free, much like it had with poor Mr Chang. With a grin and a soft chuckle Rose spun in her chair and gave the room a look over before pointing to a table further away, near the dance floor. Sitting at it was four men and a woman. All of them were Hispanic and decked out in gang colours, for those in the know it was trappings of the group that followed Bane. "That is Delilah and her brothers, Sam, Peter and Pablo. They work for Bane, street level stuff mainly. She sells and they provide the brawn. I broke Peter's arm once during a mission, poor sod was jacked up to the heavens and a little girl left him in a wasted heap. Anyway, Delilah is pretty hot and a great dancer. We're gonna get her to dance with you. I'll drag poor Sam along for the jollies of it. He's cute and doesn't pump his body full of crap." As she spoke Rose motioned to the people she was talking about. Hardly subtle in what she was doing it had caught the attention of the people at the table as they were pointed at. Two of them were already tensing up as if ready for something bad to happen. In a weird twist Rose slipped from her chair and motioned for Tay to follow along. As she walked the pale haired girl practically skipped, she always had more bounce in her step when she was up to no good or had something fun in mind.
Walking along the outside of the bane group Rose ran her fingers all along the shoulders of the men before stopped at Delilah "Hey there Delilah, I want to introduce a friend of mine. This is Safira. She is looking for a dance partner." As the Hispanic woman went to speak Rose placed a finger on the woman's lips with a smirk "Keep listening. She works for a certain Demon Head. I am sure if someone was extremely nice to her, my friend could put in a good word for the person being nice to her with her boss.Maybe a little leeway in certain areas." The cogs were turning now in the other females head, her eyes turned to Tay and gave her a look over before a slight smirk crossed her lips. "I'd love to dance with such a beautiful woman, Rose. Business can wait, yes? What is it that you say? Fun before work." The expression caused Peter to flinch a little, clearly the expression was related to the incident Rose mentioned. Rose grabbed the one she had labelled as Sam by the wrist and dragged him forcefully out his seat with a soft giggle "You are dancing with me Sam, don't you worry your pretty head though. I won't break you like I did your brother."

Safira couldn’t help but smile at the idea that Rose needed someone a little quirky. Based upon the evidence from the festivities that tonight had reaped, quirky seemed to be the right fit. Perhaps even more than that, maybe a little crazy wouldn’t be so bad paired up with Rose. Though no-one normal could ever settle down with an assassin, they had to be a little different themselves and that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. Rose was probably right on the whole romantic relationship thing too, after all, what an assassin does is create misery… and they do say misery loves company, so.
But things changed quickly, and that was for the better. Neither of them needed to get philosophical here tonight, it was supposed to be about having fun. Rose’s knowledge of the bar played a part again, as she identified a group of four sat across the place at a table nearby to where the dance floor is located. Safira’s attention ascended slightly as she laid eyes on the girl across from her; Delilah. Fortunately enough, her appearance was way better than what perhaps her name would suggest. Safira would have to give Rose credit later, not bad for her first pick of someone to pair up with Tay. Rose slipped out from her chair and stepped over towards the group. Something of a feeling of obligation, Safira slipped away from hers and followed closely behind.
Only a few moments after had the female duo arrived at the Bane gang clad table. Safira had been learning a few things tonight. The latest of which was that she could seemingly throw around the name of Ra’s Al Ghul and pick up any member of the Crosshairs regulars – she’ll have to remember that one. Of course Safira had not much in the way of influence within the League, but they weren’t to know that.
It didn’t matter how many times that Safira heard someone refer to her as being a; beautiful woman, it always elicited the same reaction. A playful smile befell over the face of Safira as she looked back towards Delilah. Safira momentarily bit her bottom lip as she went on to speak. ”Fun is just what I’m lookin’ for”. Safira would say in response as she took hold of Delilah’s hand and led her toward the dance floor. It was said that one can learn a lot from the way a person dances, mostly in regards to how they are within the bedroom. This… should be interesting, and perhaps determine whether Rose has a future as a professional matchmaker should the assassin thing not work out.

Delilah was happy to lead Tay out to the dance floor, now that she was standing and revealed it was clear the woman worked out. Not in the same punishing way that the Merc or Assassin did but in the keep fit and toned way. Her looks were as much a weapon as voice when it came to her dealings with others. With the thought of the League giving her some space to deal in without hassle she was more than happy to take to the floor with the other female. The fact that Tay was stunning really didn't hurt either. It was also clear that Delilah was the type to lead in their dance, just on the right side of shameless as she moved against the assassin with a playful smirk. Sam however was not doing so great, Rose was dancing rings around the guy who seemed terrified that something was going to happen to him. As the song continued Rose continued to weave her way around the man who did his best to keep his hands off Rose as she continued to try to place them on her hips. About half way through she forcefully pushed Sam away sending him sprawling across the floor without missing a beat as she continued to groove away to the tune. Sam picked himself up and slinked back to the table with a look of relief. For her part Rose didn't seem to care as she made use of the floor to twirl and twist to her own private dance partner. As the song began to fade and the next began Rose made her way across to the only other two people on the dance floor, Saffy and Delilah. Without hesitation Rose joined in, moving between the two and against the pair, more than happy to just dance with those two since no one else seemed to be able to keep up with her this evening. Flashing the league member a smirk as she wove her way behind the other girl, almost trapping her between Rose and Delilah. The female merc was content to grind to the beat and let herself just enjoy the moment. Much like she did whenever she went out partying. After a job this was the only way she could relax without needing to find someone to punch or drink herself into oblivion. She wanted to keep that spark of life alive in her for as long as she could before the work killed it. Crushed under the weight of all the things she had to do. Leaning in from behind Tay Rose whispered softly " Having fun yet?"
