Jason is a bit of a tricky one. He had a tough upbringing as one of Gotham's numerous street kids and once things were looking vaguely up for him having inherited the title of Robin after being adopted by Bruce Wayne he managed to go and get himself killed when he was only fifteen courtesy of the Joker. He spent time as part of the Team after being brought on by Nightwing on Batman's advise and it helped him a lot, until he was ultimately pulled out of it after the incident in which his father was shot in front of him and he may or may not have killed a man, only he knows the truth and no one seems to want to accept his counter argument either way. Now he is back, thanks to the Al Ghul's and their Lazarus Pit, having trained travelling the world as his mentor once did in order to become what he see's to be the true answer to the world's troubles, willing to go the extra mile to ensure the end of corruption as well as holding somewhat of a grudge against the world in general.
Friends; There was a time when Jason would have had these in abundance; when he became a part of the Team and once he finally managed to fit in with such a different way of working that he was used too. While he might have always been a bit more brash than the original Robin there was no denying he was good at what he did and that was enough for respect to begin making friends. Opinions after the rooftop incident would be clear to change, and as for the knowledge that he has returned from the dead that is still waiting to come out so who knows how much that will all test old bonds of friendship as well as opening up doors for new ones.
Enemies; It's easy to make enemies when you live the vigilante life, even more so when you come back gun toting and ready to do what is necessary. While 'enemy' might be a bit of a harsh word he holds a strong disdain for the batman, the man who called him his son yet let the joker getting away with murdering him as well as the third Robin, his direct replacement.
Loves; Realistically, the time for something substantial here is pretty much non-existent. He has much greater priorities than trying to find a girlfriend but he still has been known to be a bit of a flirt, normally jokingly at times, not that it would eve lead to anything.

If I recall correctly, Artemis may not have come into contact with Jason. Well, not on the Team, anyway. Given that she's from Gotham, and most of her patrolling will have been done in the city, it's not inconceivable that they would have met during these times. She's only been back in the hero life for a year, having spent over 2 years away with Wally, and then several months undercover with Kaldur, so I guess it'll come down to how prominent he's been since her return, really, unless you were envisaging him having joined the Team soon after the events of season 1 of the animated series?
Anyway, would love to thread!

Hmmmm, darn timing making me think about things. Well I don't think it'd be long after season 1, not directly after but of course by the time season 2 came around he was long dead and Tim Drake was Robin so there is a slim chance they may have overlapped with timing since it probably wouldn't have been waaaay into the time between seasons, or even if not I imagine she'd atleast be aware of who he was what with him having a memorial in Mount Justice with the rest of the 'fallen heroes'. But yes since he is Gotham based there is nothing stopping them running into one another whether they know each other or not c: He has only recently returned so he's not a big thing just yet.

I imagine the two of us would know each other since Zatanna was on the Team until she turned 18 so she was likely to have been there for Jason and his welcoming as the new robin and their mourning his loss. Because of what happened to her father and the fact it was Dick's little brother, it probably would have hurt pretty bad. To find out he's alive would be great but leave a billion and one questions since people don't come back from the dead.
As for our relationship, I'd like to think we'd be pretty cool. Jason was a rough around the edges type of Robin and Zatanna was a rebellious girl that liked breaking rules. The two could have broken a lot of rules together and had fun. Granted, Jason's more into rule breaking than Zee but she's all about fun.

Yay! I am perfectly okay with all of this! Jason would have much appreciated someone on the team that was able to actually let their hair down and not be all SRS BSNS since you clearly get enough of that when you work with batman and everyone needs a break! And especially if they did get along so well then it will provide for quite an interesting conversation when she suddenly discovers he is back, all of the questions can be asked and we can just wait and see her opinion on his new methods when it comes to crime fighting.

Great! Then the two of us could have been bad influences on one another! The Jason left and there was nobody left to be bad with. *sad face*
I'm not sure how she'd react to his return to the living. It'd probably be hugs, screaming, poking his cheek, and even asking if he's been cloned because Cadmus makes them by the dozen. As for his new way of getting things done, she would probably be against it and trying to get him back to the old ways. Batman might have gotten a new Robin but nobody's replaced Jason. There could never be a replacement for him.

Aw yeah! The two that could never be left to do something just the pair of them for fear of what would end up happening! Oh and she would be someone that he actually could have acted like a kid and a teenage boy around which he never was able to do and now I've made myself sad thinking about it ;;
Aw Zee, you and your lovely words making him feel all special. If only people weren't so determined against his new way of doing things! I can see that becoming quite trying between the pair of them after his copious ignoring of trying to be talked back to the old ways, but that can occur later!

Oh Jaybird, we'll have been the best pair of not-so-good heroes! Going out on patrol on the streets of Gotham, giggling at thieves as they try to run away and taunting them on how bad the duo is going to beat them up. Yep. We were obviously the two most awesome people on the team back in the day.
Even if things become trying because he's being a total Jason Todd, Zatanna isn't one to give up on people easily. She's unnecessarily loyal and even though he died, that place in her heart for him never went away. During those trying times, I do see her using her powers to stop him from seeking justice and him maybe turning against her. OMG all the heartache in the future! She just wants to love you Jason and the two of them to be happy and bad together, just the tamed version of bad.

They clearly were! Catching them, then letting them go to run a bit, catching them again and just generally tormenting the silly little criminals. So responsible.
omfg I am sorry but that is just the best phrase in the world. 'stop beng such a total jason todd'. I can't even. But yes, the moment she tried to use her powers against him in some form or another he would probably retaliate even though he would never really want to hurt her since she was one of the few people who was always on his side. She just wants them to be good-bad! Oh gosh the feels. But yes, do you have any particular idea as to a first run in with the pair of them that you fancy?

How many feels do you want to be hit in? The first post could be in Gotham on his birthday since she could be there doing things to look into the crime she tried to stop the day before but catches sight of a suspicious character just to find out it's Jason and crush him with love, tears, and shaking. All the shaking. If you want, I can add this to the several threads I need to start for people to set the mood.
AND THEN ALL THE FEELS RED! WE WILL BE ON THE FEELS BUS AND IT GOES ROUND AND ROUND!

I want to be hit with a sledgehammer of feels. It is the only way! I am in full support of this. ooooooh the emotion. I was going to say if you wanted to add it to your list that's cool! Or I don't mind starting it but it wouldn't be until later tonight as I am about to head out for the evening.
AND THE FEELS BUS DON'T MAKE NO STOPS!

I'm curious as to what relationship Clark and Jason would have had - Clark got very involved with the team after he finally stopped being horrid and paid attention to Conner, so they would've had quite a few meetings. Taking into account the fact that Bruce and Clark are good friends, too, it's highly likely they spent a decent amount of time around each other. In the classic comics, Clark had a very good relationship with Dick, but as that isn't shown in Young Justice, I would find it interesting if it reflected Jason and Clark's relationship, instead. Of course, that doesn't have to happen if you don't want to.
I honestly think that - after finding out Jason's alive, if they had a halfway decent relationship - Clark would go look for him, to talk to him and see how he is. He cares, and can't help that. Thoughts?

I quite like the idea of slightly mirroring the dick and supes relationship. I always imagine Jason being quite weary of superman on first meetings, he just doesn't believe anyone can have all that power and be as good as they claim; the joys of being a sceptical and probably a little jealous. But especially after Clark actually took in his fatherly role with con and after they actually spent time together, which as you mentioned with clark and bruce's relationship I imagine to be more often than many of the other justice leaguers that could easily shift. I also envision all of the Robin's having moments when they wish they had Superman for a mentor as opposed to a grumpy old bat because how could you not let's be honest. But yeah, basically I quite like that idea.
And especially because when you have a pretty good relationship with someone it's always more fun to see how they would react when they realise what has become of Jason now. He is gradually becoming more and more known as the Red Hood so, even though Zee is currently the only one who know's he is alive, it's only a matter of time until the detectives clock it. Clark can either find out that way or of course, with that suer duper x-ray vision of his he could always see past the hood!

That sounds good, then. Clark genuinely likes almost everyone, and he especially likes all the Robins - losing Jason would definitely be upsetting, as aside from the whole 'losing Krypton' thing, he hasn't really lost anyone. Then, of course, losing Pa happened not too long ago - the thought that anyone he lost is back would really excite him.
As for how... Unless it's likely that Jason would leave Gotham any time soon - as Clark wouldn't venture in it to go seek out Red Hood, and he's not particularly inclined to break someone's secret identity unless they're clearly a villain - then it should probably wait until Clark's told, either by the resident detectives of Gotham, or Zatanna. In which case, he'd almost immediately go after him.

Oh bless Clark, don't get too excited, disappointment will only occur when you see what he's up to!
But that makes perfect sense. Especially with Zatanna being part of the JL now, I mean Jason is going to ask her to keep quiet but who knows how well she will be able to keep that secret and he is going to try keep the fact he is the red hood from her as long as possible. Or yes, Gotham. The furthest he'll probably be going is bludhaven in the near future but the clues are underway for Bat-kids to clock it, and I imagine that news will spread fast when that falls in to place!
