BIRTHDAY: September 22nd, 1961. Believe it or not, Kara is actually 56-years-old, but due to suspended animation, she's biologically only 18-years-old.

POWER:
Kara possesses the same abilities that any other Kryptonian would, though that doesn't make her powers any less special. After the destruction of Krypton, Kara was one of the few Kryptonians left, not to mention one of the few Kryptonians to live on earth. Here's a list of her many powers:
Super Strength- You know that moment when someone deliberately steals the parking spot in which they knew you wanted? Kara has the ability to get out of her car and approach, lift, and move the parked car, all because of the superpower 'Super Strength.' This ability allows her to defy the laws of physics as she can lift and forcefully destroy things that are, well over, ten times her size.
Super Speed- This power gives Kara the ability to run, and move, faster than any human, unless that human is genetically enhanced. It aids her in running, as well as flying.
Flight- With another defiance to the laws of physics, Kara has the Kryptonian ability to fly.
Invulnerability- Kara possesses immunity to all forms of physical damage, which makes her virtually indestructible. The only exception is exposer to harmful types of Kryptonite, in which give off radiation.
Super Visions-
X-Ray Vision: The ability to see through objects, even if they're not transparent.
Heat Vision: Like other Kryptonians, Kara can expel bolts of heat and energy from her eyes. This tactic can be used to burn, or completely disintegrate, a target.
Super Hearing- Kara's favorite ability, super hearing, allows her to hear sounds of all frequencies, including low frequency sound. With this comes the ability to hear sounds from a great distance, all with amazing clarity. It's great for eavesdropping, or even spying, especially when you can hear even the quietest of footsteps.
Super Stamina- This power is genuinely super. We'd expect heroes to be exhausted after a long day of crime-fighting, but Kryptonians aren't. The important ability, super stamina, allows them to have, virtually, everlasting endurance. This means that they can run for days without sleep, and they don't need as many nutrients from what they eat.
More- Kara, like Superman, has many powers, and the list goes on. These few should give you a glimpse at Kryptonian abilities, and help us all understand how super our favorite aliens actually are.
BLOOD TYPE: N/A. You humans would never understand Kryptonian biology.
ORIENTATION: Straight.
PET: A sweet pet cat called Streaky!Batcow is also hers.
MENTOR: Superman and Wonder Woman, though the Amazonians also helped with her training.
SCARS AND MARKINGS: None
COLOR(S): Red, yellow, and blue.
UNIFORM: Supergirl's uniform consists of a blue, form fitting, long-sleeve crop-top, that is made of a flexible, fireproof material, which doesn't constrict her while fighting. Her super symbol, similar to the one that Superman has, is displayed across her chest.
Smaller details of the top include a small red trim around the wrist-section of each sleeve, as well as around the neckline. On the back of her shirt, a red cape, with a yellow trim, is attached. It is yet another super-family-similarity.
The uniform includes a blue skirt, which is made of the same material as said top. It's paired with a yellow belt, which keeps it in place during battle. With the same battle issue, Kara chooses to wear shorts underneath her skirt. Though it's not visible beneath the attire, it keeps things modest when she's flying and/or fighting.
Last but not least, Kara wears nearly-knee-high red boots, that are also fireproof and form-fitting. They're stable enough to support her feet, yet still flexible enough to keep from slowing her down.
DESCRIPTION:
Kara is a blonde-haired, blue-eyed Kryptonian beauty. Though she's chronologically older, she looks to be around 18, and still holds her youthful glow.
She stands at a not-so-tall height of 5'5", while still only weighing 135 lbs. She also has a beautiful smile, as well as natural good looks.

Fear:
Kara's deepest fear is losing the ones she loves. She strives to keep them safe, but that doesn't detain the relentless fear that something bad might happen to them. After the death of her parents, Kara vowed to protect her friends and remaining family, yet she understands that she can't always be there to protect them, and that alone ignites concern in every ounce of her being.
Aside from the obvious fear of loss, Kara has a secret fear of letting people down. She wants to be enough for everyone, but sometimes she feels as though she doesn't measure up, and that scares her more than anything. Being enough for your friends is important, and she know that. Letting them down would mean letting herself down, because they are her first priority.
Desire:
Kara secretly wishes to fit in with the human race. Though she loves being Kryptonian, normalcy is something that, she assumes, every superhero wants, and she finds herself wishing for it every now and then. More than anything, though, Kara wants the world to be safe. She loves her duties as a hero, and she wants justice to be served to each and every wrongdoer, not only on earth, but on any planet in the universe.
HABITS:
Kara has a habit of using her powers at unnecessary times, simply for the enjoyment of using them. With this comes her worst habit- Eavesdropping. Using her super hearing, Kara will listen in on people's conversations, even though she knows she shouldn't. In all honesty, she sees no problem with it. It helps her find useful information, and it's saved her some trouble on multiple accounts.
Kara has another habit of taking matters into her own hands. If she sees that a situation isn't being handled fittingly, she will take care of it herself, usually without asking for approval first.
PET PEEVE:
Kara can't stand it when people consider her a kid. She's a mature 18-year-old, and she knows what she's doing. Whether it comes to fighting crime, or staying out late with her friends, she wants everyone to understand that she can handle things herself.
She also can't stand it when people simply don't care, especially when it concerns crime. Villains are ultimately her biggest pet peeve, and she doesn't understand how anyone could be so evil, though it doesn't stop her from serving justice.
STRENGTHS:
• Her Powers: Kara is put at an advantage with her many abilities, and they never cease to strengthen her in any form of battle, nor in her everyday life. They make her, quite obviously, more powerful, and help her overcome many obstacles.
• Independence: Kara may be young, but she can take care of herself. The more she learns about controlling her powers, the more independent she feels, which gives her a sense of freedom. In fact, she actually prefers handling certain situations on her own.
• Strength is most certainly a strength
• Bravery: Every hero is brave, but the significance of this strength should never be taken for granted. There is little to nothing that Kara is afraid of, and she's willing to face every obstacle head on. It's a quality that has, without fail, helped her survive.
• Intellect: Kara is smart, and her intelligence stretches beyond average. From her strategic skills, to learning new things, she's capable of amazing things due to her knowledge.
WEAKNESSES:
• Certain Types of Kryptonite: There are different colors and forms of kryptonite, and certain types are harmful to Kryptonians due to their radiation.
• Her Powers: Though they are one of her strengths, they are also one of her weaknesses. Controlling them is a challenge, and if she doesn't control them correctly, bad things can happen. On the bright side, she's learning more and more each day, and can almost control them without fail.
• Magic: Kryptonian powers are the result of a biologically natural phenomenon, not a supernatural phenomenon. This makes magic one of the few Kryptonian weaknesses. It gives mythical creatures the capability of injuring them, and wearing them down, though no magic is known to directly destroy them. This is, most likely, because invulnerability is still defensive against it at some point.
TRAITS:
Kara has many aspects of her personality, but there are a few that highlight her in general.
Determination- Kara will never give up. Whether it's saving the world, or doing chores, she will push through until it's finished, and you can count on it.
Stubbornness- Kara was well trained, and she's confident in her abilities. She can take orders, and work as a team, but in situations where it doesn't matter as much, she'll put up a fight if she thinks she's right, which is actually quite often.
Light-Hearted- Kara is almost always in a good mood, and she tries her best to make others happy as well. She wants other people to see the bright side of life, and with that comes a bit of optimism. She doesn't like it when things just feel 'heavy,'
Strong Will- We all know that Kara is strong physically, but she's also very headstrong as well. She tends to do things the way she sees fit, powering through every obstacle, to earn the outcome that she'd hoped for. To put it simply, she doesn't let people change her mind.
Courage- There are few things that Kara is actually afraid of, and her absence of fear has made her victorious over it.
Honesty- She's gonna tell the truth, even if it's not what you wanna hear.

Kara was born in Argo City; one of three principal city-states located on the continent of Lurvan on the planet, Krypton. A near utopian, space-faring civilization with incredibly advanced technology.

At the age of 11 Kara begins the Kryptonian equivalent of a tertiary education; she proves adept at science and engineering.

Krypton is destroyed. Argo City; the home of Zor-El, his wife Alura and their teenage daughter Kara, survives. Unlike many on the Kryptonian Science Council, Zor-El heeded his brother Jor-El's warnings that the planet would soon explode. Zor-El reverse-engineered force field technology left behind from when the alien Coluan Brainiac, conquered and stole the city-state of Kandor. Although Zor-El could not perfect the device, he did succeed in creating a force field bubble that enabled Argo City to survive Krypton's destruction upon a small fragment of the world, floating free through space.

Brainiac launches an assault upon Argo City; in desperation Zor-El begins preparing a vessel within which to send their daughter to safety upon Earth, following her cousin Kal-El.

Kara's parents dispatch their daughter to Earth by spaceship; unfortunately, during the escape her vessel collided with a kryptonite-encrusted meteor. Her ship takes years longer to reach its intendended destination than the ship of her cousin. During the journey, Kara continues to live inside her spaceship with her life preserved in stasis.

GOTHAM CITY

The presence of Kara's crashed ship is detected by Batman. After some initial confusion with Kara wandering aimlessly around the city, Kara was found by Superman and taken into his care.
September, 2016
METROPOLIS
SEPTEMBER 28, 18:22 EST
After spending a month growing accustomed to the languages and ways of Earth under Superman's care, Kara is first introduced to the rest of the Justice League. After some time passes, the other heroes grow more accepting of her and Wonder Woman even takes her to Themyscira for additional training.

The isle of Themyscira is attacked by an army of animated sorcerous constructs lead by Circe. Together, Kara and the Amazons of the island repel the invaders and force Circe to retreat from Themyscira.

FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE

Kal-El invites Kara to continually visit his Fortress in the artic for the purposes of continuing her education using the Kryptonian knowledge stored in his sanctums computers.
(The history up to this point has been copied and pasted from the former Kara's application. Credit goes to her. Everything from this point on will be all my own.)
After continuing her education, Kara returned to Metropolis with Kal-El, where she created her identity as Kara Kent, and ended up becoming a student at Metropolis University in 2017.
For the next few months, Kara remained Superman's crime-fighting sidekick, aiding him in battle, as well as the Justice League. Everything went well, and soon enough, Kara, with the approval of her mentors, started fighting crime on her own.
A couple of months into her solo-act, Superman introduced her to the Team. A team in which, two weeks later, in mid- August, she joined without hesitation.
Kara continues to fight crime with her new teammates, and enjoys every moment of it. Even through the tough missions, she wouldn't have it any other way, and she looks forward to serving justice to those who deserve it.

Kara sighs happily, digging her toes into the sand, as she uses her fingers to trace random shapes in the warm, golden substance. The beach is nice.
Warmth, light, happiness. It's like all of her favorite things have been piled into one place- her favorite place- where she can enjoy it for as long as she wants.
Peace surrounds her with an all-consuming serenity of reassurance, just like the waves crashing to the shore in a rain of confidence. Kara closes her eyes, enjoying the sunlight that beams against her skin, as she lets her worries slip away, only holding onto her mental image of the beauty that is before her.
The waves come from beyond the horizon, allowing the sun to reflect from their movement like the radiant joy that reflects from each person there. Those waves glide gently across the sand as they overlap one another, before pulling back into the ocean, creating a never ending cycle of saltwater beauty.
At last it's sunset. The pink and orange glow of light stretches across the never-ending sky, dancing across the water and glinting against the sand, warming everything near it.
Kara smiles, opening her eyes. This day couldn't get any better, could it?
Superheroes don't really get breaks, but when they actually find time for themselves, they take advantage of it. What better way to spend it than at the beach? Kara had only been there for fifteen minutes, and she already felt like a new person.
Suddenly, the oh-too-familiar sound of her communication link meets her ears, and she knows she has to go. The Watchtower is contacting her, and the Team is in need of her assistance again.
Kara giggles lightly. "A hero's work is never done."
She stands up from where she had been sitting on the sand, brushing herself off, before looking around. No one's there, and Kara figures it's because of the grand opening of a restaurant nearby.
Kara uses this opportunity to take to the sky, heading for yet another mission after a quick costume-change.
