Kent had spent the night walking the streets of Las Vegas looking for some action. At one point he encountered a prostitute on the corner of 32nd street, however he wasn't interested in that kind of stuff and just flicked a few pennies at her instead. Having not found anything interested to get involved in Kent was forced to return to the sanctum where all of the other champions resided, even though he despised most of them. It wasn't that they were idiots it's just that he didn't understand some of the things that he did, and it frustrated him more than anything. He usually spent his time at the sanctum holed up inside of his room without speaking to any of them and then come out when it was time to get to work. He has always been that type of person and prefers doing things that involve bloodying his fists.
By the time he got back to the Sanctum it was around noon and the heat from the sun was just reaching it's peak. He took a few minutes as he stood outside of the entrance and enjoyed the feeling the solar energy being absorbed into his cells. He was never able to do that in his experimental phase and was confined to a solar suit, which is probably why he wasn't as strong before being re-created by Luthor. As he entered the building he walked through the scanner and allowed the machine to pull up his information. "Authorized, Match, #07" the computer read out and then the wall before him slid down revealing a dark staircase with little to no lighting. Kent had been through this process all to many times and grew tired of the theatrics. "Why couldn't they just have a back door?" he thought to himself.
The first thing he noticed upon entering the inner-sanctum was the amount of people within the living quarters and how loud they were being. Kent was still sensitive to sound due to his enhanced hearing and preferred the quieter things in life like punching people and reading. A scowl came across his face and he walked toward the kitchen to get some orange juice from the fridge. On his way there he had to step over a few new creatures that he hadn't seen before, but instantly took a disliking to. "Who's animals are these!? this isn't a damn zoo." he yelled, turning toward the various people within the lounge area. He never had many patience when it came to animals and just ended up booting it to the side with his foot effortlessly with little to no concern if he had injured it or not. After getting his juice he exited the kitchen and headed toward the hallway that leaded to their personal quarters, but first he had to pass through the lounge of people.
He had never been one for socializing and just stood there with his orange juice in hand looking at them all. The incredibly loud music blasting from the speakers at the back made him twitch a bit, and he set his glass down on the counter next to him. "Do you think you could turn that down a bit!?" he asked, trying to scream over the blaring music. Some person in the back just chuckled and cranked the music a little louder.. and that was it for Kent. His white eyes quickly turned red and he blasted the radio in the back with his heat vision, blowing it up and launching various parts around the room. Shortly after he quickly regained his focus and became calm again, picking up his orange juice as if nothing had happened. Without saying another word he just turned to the left and started walking toward the hallway, when he was intercepted by...
