Berlin, Germany, 18:26
Artemis hates the silence, so she wanders the streets of Berlin through the crowds. The loud noises and the constant movement keeps her on alert. Having her mind constantly on the go is her happy place. She waits til the last moment to duck into a alleyway so she can get to the meeting spot.
Out of sight, she takes off her bag and pulls off the sweatshirt she was wearing over her uniform. It's the only bit of civilian clothing she's wearing. She finds that in a crowd, there's no point to wear over the top disguises. The bigger the crowd, the more people mind their own business. And Artemis is fine with that.
She slips on her mask and the extra weapons she couldn't hide successfully on her person earlier and throws the duffle back on her shoulder. She eyes the closest accessible fire escape. It's a little high, but nothing she can't handle. She backs up slightly and then runs at an angle. She kicks off the wall to increase her height before grabbing onto the lowest bar. Piece of cake.
Artemis stays alert at all times. She is positive she hasn't been followed, but there's always room for error. And even if she hadn't, there's Red Arrow to worry about. And while she trusts him to carry his own weight, she doesn't trust his lack of faith in himself. Or maybe deep down she didn't trust him. Anyone who fell for Jade had to have unresolved issues, excluding the ones he had in regards to being a sleeper agent clone.
Speaking of Jade, where was her criminal of a sister? Up to no good, no doubt. If Red wants to talk about her, it only means disaster. Jade was like Artemis, always in need of a rush. While Artemis got hers from catching criminals, Jade got hers from being one.
"We've got the worst genes." She muttered.
