December 31st, 2017 Time: 2:33 AM Location: Tokyo, Japan ----------
A shuriken flew by his head as he ran along the rooftop, and Roy wondered how things had gotten this bad. Sure, he had been picking a fight with the League of Shadows, but sending a literal army of assassins after him might have been a tad excessive. Of course, it probably didn’t help that his dear wife wasn’t the one to bring him down, but to be fair they did have a special bond that was hard for them to completely sever at this point. Naturally this didn’t mean that it couldn’t be severed by a group of ninjas with a lot of sharp objects.
Firing an arrow back into the fray, it exploded into light, which should by him a few minutes as he activated his radio frequency to the Team. ”This is Red Arrow with a priority alert. I am under attack by League of Shadows agents and need immediate assistance. All available Team and Justice League members respond,” he shouted. Firing a grappling arrow to a nearby building, he leapt off his current ground and swung down to the city streets, where he rolled into a defensive position as he reloaded his bow. He probably had about five seconds before they caught up with him.
”I repeat. This is Red Arrow with a priority alert. I am currently in Tokyo, Japan with an army on my six, so someone had better respond.” His eye caught sight of the first one descending upon him, so he released the normal arrow that flew into the guy’s abdomen. It wouldn’t kill him, but it would take at least one of them out of the fight. ”And someone bring me my spare quiver from HQ. I’m running low on ammo out here.”

Supergirl bolted through the air, flying at super speed in the direction of Tokyo, planning to make it there before anything bad could happen. It would only take seconds to arrive.
The Watchtower had contacted her about a problematic situation in the Asian city, and she was immediately ready for action. The young Kryptonian was unsure as to who would be assisting them in this plight, but she knew that they all needed to act fast. Red Arrow needed their help. The League of the Shadows, a villain group, had been stirring up trouble on quite a few occasions, and today, they'd decided to sic an army on one of the Team members. Needless to say, they'd planned their attack against the archer, and Supergirl was ready to handle it. Kara felt the wind rush beneath her, the cool air swirling around her as she flew faster, banking sideways to turn. She was getting close. Finally the young girl's eyes fell upon Tokyo.
The city lights dazzled and every building stretched endlessly towards the sky. At last, she descended, immediately locating, and focusing on, her comrade and the army that surrounded him. Some assassins were perched on the top of buildings while others flooded the alleyways with movement, positioning their sharp weapons, ready for the fight.
Red Arrow appeared to be standing on a city street, and he seemed fine, despite the scenario. Extra arrows would be vital to his self defense. Luckily, Kara had followed orders and taken them with her.
Supergirl continued her speed, sweeping down as she neared her comrade and dropping the extra quiver in front of him, before, once again, taking to the sky.
Once she was high enough, Kara scanned the nearby buildings and streets, using her superhearing to tune into every sound that was around her. If an assassin was strategizing a plan of attack, approaching her, or blinking, she would hear them. Still listening intently, the young girl looked down at Red Arrow, making sure he was ready, before looking at the army. "Let's do this."

Things were not looking good for Roy as he drew the last arrow in his arsenal and try to pick the best target that would at least give him some edge in this fight. Scanning the surrounding area, he sighted a water tower on top of a building, and hoping for a bit of luck he fired his last arrow at it. Sadly, it didn’t make it that far as one of his attackers threw a group of throwing stars to intercept it, so there stood a red archer who only had a bow in his hands to do battle with. Not as dangerous as before, he was still going to put up a fight.
If he only knew that the leader of the group was giving orders for them to surround his position on the ground, then he might have tried to move to a different position where he wouldn’t have gotten cut off, but it was far too late for that now. It seemed that he was at his last stand until a quiver dropped down from the sky to land in front of him, which caught everyone by surprise as they looked up to see where it had come from. ”Not the wearer of the ‘S’ I was expecting, but I’m not going to complain.” His words were muttered, but someone with hearing like her could still pick it up.
While the blonde bombshell scanned the area, Roy quickly grabbed the quiver and loaded another arrow. Meanwhile, the head assassin was signaling the others to attack in force while he took out the target, and that was when the large group start coming out of the woodwork. ”I don’t suppose you brought any back-up,” he commented as he fired a net arrow at a group of them. Of course, he already knew the answer as any back-up would have already started in on the group, but at least Supergirl was a full Kryptonian so that meant she had the full arsenal to help even the odds.
”Just remember to leave one conscious.” Firing off a standard arrow, Roy knew that this was going to be his one shot to get some information that could be considered useful.

"Just remember to leave one conscious."
Supergirl immediately came up with a strategy and headed in the direction of the large group of assassins, flying at super speed toward them. She'd wanted to answer the archer's previous question, but there was no way he would hear her from the distance, and the answer had been obvious, though unspoken. No one else was coming as back-up.
Kara could see where that would be slightly unnerving, but she wasn't concerned in the least. She had full confidence that the two of them could handle it. After all, the Team was trained to deal with situations like these.
The Kryptonian couldn't help but wonder why they were attacking Red Arrow. It was very unusual for an entire army to set their sights on a single person. They had to have another reason for the incursion, but Kara couldn't determine the cause. Plenty of people wanted to kill members of the Team, it was part of being hero, but a whole army against a lone archer was a little much, and Supergirl needed to know what was going on.
Attempting to make sense of the situation, Kara touched down on the cool blacktop, glancing back at her comrade, before turning her attention back to the assassins before her. If everything went according to plan, she could take care of the mass, before moving onto the next group. It could take a while, but she had her priorities.
Kara charged toward the assassins at super-speed, effortlessly pushing herself into the middle of the crowd, before immediately disarming a couple of the villains around her. For anyone who didn't understand Kryptonian abilities, this action would've seemed rather idiotic, though it wasn't. Invulnerability was fundamental, and it left an open door for bold moves, especially those that momentarily confound their targets.
Supergirl began throwing super-punches against a couple of the attackers, lightly using her super-strength to knock them unconscious. It wasn't enough to permanently damage them, but they'd be out cold for a while.
A few of the other soldiers lifted their swords in defense, striking towards the young girl forcefully. Kara refused to even flinch, instead she used her forearm to block the strikes, as her superhuman abilities protected her from any harm. It was then that she confiscated a few more weapons, breaking them in two, before knocking the daylights out of their possessors. It was a routine tactic that was easily thinning the crowd.
Kara took care of a few more subjects, before regaining her attention to the city around her. She scanned the whole area, and it was clear that they had a long way to go. Soldiers were charging in, and there were more than she'd originally assumed.
Red Arrow was out of sight from where she was standing, and she was slightly concerned for his safety. They were way outnumbered, and he didn't have the same advantages that she did. No doubt he was skilled, but this wasn't the ideal situation for anyone.
"Red?" Kara yelled, not sure if he could even hear her. "Any idea why they'd be attacking you like this?"
She couldn't figure out what was happening, but one thing was for sure, it wasn't random- Someone was wanting to kill.
(OOC: I'm sorry it took me so long to reply to this. To be honest, I'm having a really difficult time figuring her powers out. I'm used to stealthy characters who aren't so super. xD If I did anything wrong, let me know, I'll fix it. Your patience is astounding, and I can't thank you enough. I'm sorry for taking so long to reply, and I will certainly not do that in the future. You're my favorite person to thread with, and I didn't want to post my post until it was perfect. Thank you!)

”No back-up then,” he stated as the blonde flew at a group of assassins. It was either a slow day in the Watchtower or a very busy day, but either way a full blooded Kryptonian should more than equal an army. Of course, it wouldn’t be as entertaining as watching a rage filled, super strong youth take them apart, but that apparently cost extra.
Well, it wasn’t like this was a video game or some movie where one could do what one wanted. No, this was real life, and sometimes one just had to suck it up and shoot the bad guys in the knee with a blunt arrow. A cracking sound told the archer that someone was going to be in physical therapy once they made it to a hospital, and for a moment he felt bad about it. Then a shuriken flew by his head, and Red quickly got over whatever guilt there was in his mind and shot the perpetrator with a taser arrow.
Then they started to get in close which made the arrows kind of useless as projectiles, but he still had the bow which he used like a quarterstaff. Swinging it around, Red began knocking them aside while trying to give himself some room to breathe, but it was becoming slightly more difficult to do so. ”Alright, you guys are starting to annoy me to no end,” he stated as he threw an explosive arrow at the foot of one of his attackers. The resulting explosion knocked a few of them off their feet, but more importantly it gave him somewhere to run to.
Stepping over bodies and barreling through others, he was able to force his way toward a larger area of the street, which was when he heard Supergirl’s question. ”I’ll be honest with you. It could be one of the last fifty things I did to upset them over the past few months, but I am pretty sure it was the job I pulled in India that has most of them upset. It wasn’t the nicest of things,” responded Red as he fired a polyurethane arrow at an incoming group. It exploded and trapped a group of them in its sticky clutches.
”Before we continue this conversation, mind taking us somewhere a little higher for a bit. It will give us room to talk, catch our breath and keep from getting stabbed,” inquired Red as he Spartan kicked an assassin away from himself. He knew that Supergirl was probably handling herself wonderfully, but he was starting to get bruised and cut up from so many opponents who actually knew how to handle themselves.

The sound of Red Arrow's voice filled the Kryptonian's ears, and she let out a small sigh of relief. At least he wasn't being torn apart by these savages.
She flew a little higher, sighting her comrade, who appeared to be firing an arrow at a group of assassins, trapping them where they stood. The archer seemed to be holding his own, and Kara regained her faith that the two of them could handle the army alone.
It was then that Supergirl questioned what had gone down in India. Kara hadn't been keeping tabs on her teammates, and she couldn't help but wonder what "fifty things" Roy had done to upset the League of the Shadows. Judging by their reaction, it was nothing good.
"Before we continue this conversation, mind taking us somewhere a little higher for a bit. It would give us room to talk, catch our breath, and keep from getting stabbed," the archer requested, before kicking an assassin away from himself.
Kara concurred, though it wasn't because she was tired of fighting. Red Arrow already appeared to have a few bruises and cuts, and she could only imagine how tired he was by this point. Supergirl's abilities were keeping her from the mass exhaustion and pain that typically accompanied battle, but she had not yet forgotten that humans were still affected by it.
Supergirl flew the two of them to the rooftop of a tall skyscraper, scanning the area after landing. She couldn't see, nor hear, anyone, and it was apparent that they would be safe for at least a few minutes. If any of the attackers wanted to come up there, it would take them a while, and that would buy the heroes some time to evade.
Kara glanced over the edge of the building, watching as the assassins flooded the city streets with movement as they decided on their next tactic. In her perspective, it was pointless. No matter what, the heroes always win, and good conquers all. It didn't make sense why the miscreants would even try to put up a fight, but regardless, they unfailingly did, and nobody could change that.
Supergirl then turned her attention to Red Arrow, the archer who had possibly instigated their current situation. She had wanted to ask questions about whatever had happened in India, but she had a primary concern, and that would have to come first.
"Are you okay?" she asked, looking him over. He wasn't bleeding to death as far as she could tell, but there was no telling how long he had been fighting before her arrival. A quick time out was a great idea. "And what happened in India?" she added, wanting to understand what all of this was about.

Before this moment, Roy had no clue what it felt like to be manhandled by a girl in a super way, but when Supergirl moved the two of them it was certainly quick but not very pleasant. He was definitely going to take the stairs for the next tactical retreat, but first he had to survive until the next one was warranted.
Scanning the area, there were no obvious signs of attack, and given his blonde associate’s lack of super speeding around to take anyone out there probably wasn’t anyone within a few miles of them. This meant that there was probably a few moments to give a briefing to his colleague on why he was getting such a warm welcome from the Shadows, but Roy planned on omitting a few things that weren’t really relevant.
”As most know, I have a personal grudge against the League of Shadows for what they did to me, so I decided to put a stop to them. For the last few months, I have been following rumors, tracking operatives and hitting any facility that is connected with them, which eventually ticked them off to the point of them sending a few assassins after me.”
Roy took a moment to count the number of arrows that he had left in his quiver and made note of which types he had left to dole out to whoever might pop up first. ”Obviously, none of them did anything that kept me down for long, so now they are trying to use quantity over quality to bring me down.”
While this was all true, it didn’t actually answer the specifics of his times in India, which involved a long tale involving him dressed as something ridiculous. ”There was a group of the Light’s scientists that were trying to restart the Brain’s attempts at controlling the Kobra-Venom animals in the area, so I infiltrated the facility, destroyed their equipment and sort of reenacted a more violent version of that scene from that animated Tarzan movie. It wasn’t pretty.”
Pulling out a small bottle, the archer began applying a liquid bandage to the cuts on his body, and then he popped a pill into his mouth that would numb the pain for a couple of hours. With that done, he loaded another arrow and approached the edge. ”I willing to bet that a few of those that were at those facility have friends down there,” he said before letting the arrow fly.
It broke apart into three small rockets that hit the ground and exploded, which broke the ranks of the oncoming ninjas. ”I don’t suppose you can count how many of them are left down there.”
