OOC: This is not a post as my character, Supergirl. This is an NPC meta-lab employee who is experimenting on Miss Martian. Her name is Katherine McDonald, and she is completely fictional, I made her up yesterday. This thread is a part of the Dawn of the Rising plot. I wasn't sure what board to place this on, so correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

January 30th, 2018. 14:23. Location: Meta-Lab, beneath the Meta-Hospital.
Katherine McDonald rolled her eyes as she stepped into the hallway, snatching a pair of latex gloves from a random cart, not even slowing her pace. Her black high heels clicked with every step, a consistent rhythm against the tile floors. Her attire consisted of a long, white coat, atop a nice dress. Her black hair was pulled up into a tight bun, and she sported sophisticated eyeglasses, which brought attention to her dry, brown eyes.
It was a typical day at work for Katherine. The Meta-Lab, a lab beneath the Meta-Hospital, was used for experimentation on meta-humans and the like. It was Ms. McDonald's job to perform various experiments on their captives, and the middle aged woman had arrived slightly late for work that afternoon. She had a couple of experiments to start, and she would have to rush through them.
At last she approached a room marked C:2, and switched on the lights inside. She gave a sarcastic, almost mocking chuckle as she entered, glancing at their captive, who was restrained to the experimentation substructure. "So who have we here?" Katherine laughed again.
The bright glow of the lights reflected off of everything in an eerie way. The room was painted white, and the floors were covered in white tiles. An antiseptic smell clashed with the scent of various chemicals and substances. Aside from a small, metal table, the room typically consisted of only a metal hospital-like bed, but this time they had more technology.
Their latest subject, Subject C:2, was apparently only weakened by fire. Exposure to fire over a period of time could weaken her until she was under their control, which was what the lab employees were going for. They had many plans for her. Because of this, a few of their technical staff had lined the walls with metal, torch-like structures. Once activated, they would ignite, surrounding the subject with intense flames, thus weakening her.
Katherine approached the green subject, eyeing her maliciously. "I have many things to explain to you, my darling, but first, what is your name?" The middle aged woman smirked at the young captive. This is going to be interesting.
