Gar growled a little sullenly, or as much as one could, when dashing ahead with about 70 mph, cheaters… both of them… He didn’t have much trouble keeping up though, and as Seven leapt up and changed direction, tapping him on the head once more, Gar dug his metaphorical heels down into the sand and spun around, to follow him, growling a little challengingly at his words. It was only fitting after all! The intense speed had his streamlined feline body lying almost flat against the ground as he tried to double back. He ran, slid, and sped forward again while kicking up the dry savannah dust around him.
::Eat dust sis!::
He couldn’t quite stop himself from throwing the cheeky remark out at M’gann as he whirled up dust in her direction. His mental projection was cut short suddenly though, as he came out of the running curve, charging headstrong into Sevens new headlock. Furry face, claws and teeth, suddenly mashed against Sevens chest, and locked away on a set of determined strong arms. The bulk and speed of the green cheetah, didn’t change however, and the sudden impact pushed seven backwards, as the clone attempted to stop the large speedy animal. "I have him now. Submit or face defeat." The headlock also had the other effect of tilting the somewhat shocked, and frankly by now rather dazed, Garcheetah around, the green cat, squirming and writhing on the ground now, letting out huffed, fierce growls as its legs kicked at the dusty air.
::…You think!:: Gar wasn’t aware if M’gann had put up the usual mental links between all three of them. She might not have, but even then… pride dictated that he came with a heroic come back… of some sort. He kinda wished he’d come up with something mildly more awesome though… he was excused… he had just charged into manwall, head first. That had to count for something.
"He shall never escape this. I shall keep him as my prisoner and ransom him back to the team. For." … the Garcheetah fell quiet while he awaited his verdict? … how much was he worth? Or… perhaps he was plotting a more action filled comeback instead… Either way the whole situation had to look rather comical. The teenage clone and the green cheetah… wrestling in the tall grass. "One Billion Dollars!"
::One billion Dollars?! ONE BILLION DOLLARS!... that’s oddly flattering… yet… I do not have to put up with this!:: There was humor and a bubbly laughter to the projected words, and it was clear that Gar was quite on the same level as Seven, fully understanding the unspoken rules and perimeters of this little game…. And more importantly, quite enjoying it. He also… had quite the surprise in store for the self-assured clone.
His form started reshaping itself, melting, morphing, in much the same way it had done as he’d changed from the Garonyx to the Gar to the Garcheetah… though this time… his shape seemed to expand rapidly, while the green fur retracting back into his form, turning into a more leathery rough skin like surface. The sudden bulk ,straining Sevens arm lock to its limit. Until the clone found himself hugging a mildly angry looking, not mention rather large….. Rhino…. That seemed to have no difficulties standing up, whether or not Seven chose to remain attached to him or not.
::soo…. You where saying….?::

"But my brother is going to take you down and I'm going to watch him do it." M'gann had said like the proud sister that she was before she sped up past Seven and literally with her speed, ran up a tree flipped and landed on a branch where she could get a good view of the action; moving out of the way of the two and enjoyed the 'show'.
With a hop and twist, followed by two thumps, Seven used a tree to turn his momentum completely around and flipped over the incoming Gar-cheetah. With another smirk Seven reach out and ran his fingers along the cheetahs head as he soared over Gar
"I will not be defeated. Also. You are still it." Seven said as before he dashed forward quickly put cheetah-Garl in a head lock. The headlock also had the other effect of tilting the somewhat shocked, and frankly by now rather dazed, Garcheetah around, the green cat, squirming and writhing on the ground now, letting out huffed, fierce growls as its legs kicked at the dusty air.
::…You think!::
M'gann laughed and clapped her hands at Seven's antics just as she opened telepathic communication so that Seven could hear Gar's thoughts. The young Martian then cupped her hands to her lips and called down to Gar. "You're not going to take that from him are you Gar?"
"I have him now. Submit or face defeat."
M'gann chuckled at the clone's antics, the cheesy villain dialogue reminded her of any number of Bond villains. M'gann had shown him the glory and entertainment that was spy films from the old school classics like the Manchurian Candidate, North by Northwest, the entire Bond series, Bourne Series and even some fluff variants like Mission Impossible series, Shadow Recruit and for laughs she made him watch Austin Powers, just for the sheer funnies or well her funnies. He seemed to enjoy the actual spy movies though and that genre so M'gann had watched with him her entire collection of said movies. It really was a good thing she didn't need much sleep. And it was funny to hear him tell the characters on screen that they were making mistakes and were going to get caught or how he would have done that differently. It was just as entertaining to watch him watch the movie as it was to watch the movie itself. Her thoughts were pulled back to the here and now when Seven sounded again.
"He shall never escape this. I shall keep him as my prisoner and ransom him back to the team. For...." Seven gave a dramatic pause before raising his free hand up to place his pinkie on the edge of his lip "One Billion Dollars!"
It wasn't often that M'gann saw Seven indulge in this kind of playful behaviour, so she was seeing a different side of him and that was good. It showed that he was developing. M'gann laughed from her treetop perch once more. "Not sure we can afford that Gar!" M'gann called down to her brother jokingly. "You're gonna have to figure a way out of this."
::One billion Dollars?! ONE BILLION DOLLARS!... that’s oddly flattering… yet… I do not have to put up with this!:: Gar's voice sounded in their heads.
Then Gar's form started reshaping itself, melting, morphing, in much the same way it had done as he’d changed from the Garonyx to the Gar to the Garcheetah… though this time… his shape seemed to expand rapidly, while the green fur retracting back into his form, turning into a Rhino that seemed to have no difficulties standing up, whether or not Seven chose to remain attached to him or not.
::soo…. You where saying….?::
M'gann clapped her hands again and laughed with the antics of both clone and little brother. "I think Gar's got you there Seven...What are you going to do now?" M'gann taunted the clone while cheering on her little brother

As the cat shifted Seven did his best to maintain his grip eventually letting go when he was sure there was no real way to keep his hold, as his fingers slipped past each other they ran lightly over the skin of the new creature. Having never seen anything like it Seven was already in investigation mode. As much as he would liked to have continued the examination now was not the time. Shifting his weight to press his shoulder against the Rhino Seven pushed with as much strength as he could muster. Seven was strong, much stronger than a normal human but the rhino was outside his lifting range. In the split second it took him to realise this he was already moving. With a twist of his hips Seven struck outward with both knees. The blows stopping before they hit, it was after all a training game and not serious. Using his hands like a vaulter to continue his momentum until he was sitting on top of the big green horned monster.
"This is an impressive beast. I do not actually think I can defeat it unaided." Seven had ideas of course on how to kill the beast, most involved large sharp implements or high pressure strikes. Which meant that Seven needed to start gathering an arsenal. He was designed to be the ultimate killing machine but the more Seven learned the more he realised that it wasn't just the body he had that was needed, gadgets and weapons were also required. While he would devastate human soldiers, when it came to Meta-humans Seven was at a disadvantage from the start. Cadmus must have intended for him to be outfitted with something or maybe many some things. Already a mission was forming in the clones head. Though that was for the future. Right now he was here, with M'gann and meeting a new person. One that didn't need to know just how dark it was in world at times.
"You have an amazing power Garfield. " Seven said with a smile "I can't think of a way to defeat this beast at this time without outside influences. I could blind you, maybe deafen you. No way to topple or pierce the skin. I would however say that this beast is slow and cumbersome. A tank like creature. Sometimes it is better to be faster, more agile than your enemy. When I grappled you, it would have been more tactical to shift to something smaller or faster. Put yourself in a position of your choosing. Do not let someone else dictate the fight for you. Though I will admit this beast is very effective against me at this time. In other locations I would be able to dodge and use it against you."
Sliding from the back of the Garhino he patted the side of the beast again "Considering how fast you shifted between those two shapes. I would think you could use that as a tactic. How small can you shift too and how large? A rapid change could be very useful to out manoeuvre or unbalance an opponent. I would suggest you study momentum and balance theories."
With a grin Seven moved a little bit away, closer to the tree M'gann was sitting in "I am sorry, I do not mean to lecture. The world is tactics and science to me, so I hope I do not bore you."

I think Gar's got you there Seven...What are you going to do now?" M'gann was perched untop of a bracnch above them, Gar was semi aware of this, asshe taunted Seven, most of his attention on the clone currently hugging his rather massive greygreen neck. "This is an impressive beast. I do not actually think I can defeat it unaided."
::I win then! Right?! Hey… oi! Whatcha doing up there?!:: There was laughter in Gars mental voice as he projected it out at them both, The Garrhino’s eyes shifting, and it tried to turn its massive head to follow Seven as he with an unnatural ease seemed to move around on him, ending up perched untop of Gars back, in a manner that might add some doubt to the truth of Gars victoriously exclamation.
"You have an amazing power Garfield." Seven spoke from untop of him, words that would make Gar smile, if the Garrhino had that ability. In truth, Gar loved his own powers. Not just because they so quickly had become a huge part of him, one that you couldn’t possible separate from him anymore. Even to the extendt that it clearly affected his fysical appearance. But also for the incredible connection it gave him to the animals around him. The ones he’d already felt so close to, but now they were almost a second family to him. In many ways Gar had become the missing link between mother nature and humanity. Not to brag or anything… of course…
"I can't think of a way to defeat this beast at this time without outside influences. In other locations I would be able to dodge and use it against you." Seven continued to speak, before Gar managed to agree with the ‘amazingness’ of his ability. The Garrhinos, for its size, incredible small ears, flicked, and turned at the suggestions and ideas that came from the clone, and Gar made an attempt to store them all in his mental library. A part of his reasons for coming back to the sanctuary, other than reconnection with his birth home, and his family’s legacy, was to learn, and become better afterall. ::I didn’t consider that… But I guess you are right… I could have changed into a ferret… or a mouse… and you wouldn’t have been able to hold unto me either… and … I’d be gone before you realized…:: His mental words where coloured with the new thoughtful attitude, making it quite clear that he was truly mulling over these things, learning from it, as he reflected on it.
He was so caught up in these reflections, that he barely felt Seven slide of his back, though the change in where his words come from, made him aware of it, if nothing else. "Considering how fast you shifted between those two shapes. I would think you could use that as a tactic. How small can you shift too and how large? A rapid change could be very useful to out manoeuvre or unbalance an opponent. I would suggest you study momentum and balance theories." ::I’ve been practicing speedshifting… like in an out of forms… though it works best with the forms im most familiar with… Like I like the Rhino!:: There was the sensation of his so familiar grin, imprinted in the words once more. ::I Keep practicing though!::
Being quite aware now, that Seven was back down on the ground, and moving away a little, Gar decided to change his form once more. Shifting back into what appeared to be his standard form. The simian monkey boy Gar. “That was fun though!”
"I am sorry, I do not mean to lecture. The world is tactics and science to me, so I hope I do not bore you." Seven seemed to be talking to them both now, parts of his attention having shifted back up to M’gann still perched in the tree.
Gar was grinning brightly now, the enthusiasm so vividly imprinted in his words earlier, now painted all over his face. “Hey didn’t you hear me! It was great! We should do it again some time!” He bounced a little, and his eyes shifted back up to M’gann, throwing his voice up at her, teasingly. “… pfff… scaredy cat… you coming down or what?”

M'gann watched as her brother and Seven 'duelled' it out or well just messed around. The Martian laughed and cheered on her brother as much as she could and really sibling bonds go a long way as she cheered on 'Team Green'. Her laughter and cheering faltered though when Seven got the better of Gar, showing exactly why it was Cadmus utilized him against metahumans. It was kind of impressive considering he didn't have 'powers' like metas, just peak human abilities and still the managed to come out well against a shapeshifter in rhino form. Thoughtfully she sat back on her tree branch, legs dangling and swinging as she listed to Seven lecture her brother a thoughtful smile on her face as she watched their interaction. Gar was actually taking to Seven quite well which made M'gann happy for some reason. Then the clone walked over to the branch she was perched on and looked up to address her.
With a grin Seven moved a little bit away, closer to the tree M'gann was sitting in "I am sorry, I do not mean to lecture. The world is tactics and science to me, so I hope I do not bore you."
With a soft chuckle M'gann shook her head, red hair danced back and forth freely when she did. "It's ok Seven, you wouldn't be you if you didn't break out in some tactical reasoning." she continued to chuckle remembering some of the tactical lectures and even faux pas M'gann had caused in the brief time she'd known the clone.
Gar was grinning brightly now, the enthusiasm so vividly imprinted in his words earlier, now painted all over his face. “Hey didn’t you hear me! It was great! We should do it again some time!”
He bounced a little, and his eyes shifted back up to M’gann, throwing his voice up at her, teasingly. “… pfff… scaredy cat… you coming down or what?”
"Scaredy cat?" M'gann questioned "I was just making sure I stayed out of the way so I wasn't blamed for anyone losing" she stuck out her tongue in that playful sibling manner.
The young Martian laughed at her little brother's taunt then proceeded to slip herself off the tree branch, flipping herself mid air similar to the moves she did at cheer practice and landed right before Seven who had been standing below the tree branch she'd been perched on earlier then looked up a she spoke.
"You didn't bore me at all." M'gann smiled looking up at him answering his earlier statement. "You were impressive."
“That was fun though!”
M'gann chuckled at her little brother. "Yeah it looked like it was."

Seven gave the Martian a thankful smile, he liked that she saw him as impressive. Which considering how powerful she was really meant something to him. There was times when Seven felt like what he was, well mostly human, was a hindrance. He didn't have powers of any kind, being able to adapt quickly mentally and having perfect control over his bodily functions didn't really equate to the same playing field as people like M'gann and Gar. They were mind breakingly powerful in Seven's eyes. He could see uses for their abilities and ways to use what he knew to use them in ways perhaps they didn't consider. Which was what made him dangerous the clone realised. They had powers and he saw how they used them and how he could counter them. With Gar he knew he would need tools of some kind, same with M'gann but his mind was working that out quickly and in way that was second nature. Yet, he didn't want to harm them. All part and parcel of that broken Clone thing he pondered to himself.
Still, he accepted the compliment and was thankful for it, how she viewed him meant a lot to the male.
Shifting his attention to Garfield Seven nodded "I would like to practice more with you, it will be very helpful to me to train with someone with abilities like yours." Turning his attention a little to M'gann he smirked softly "Though I do wonder why we have never trained together, we always watch films or read. That one fight doesn't count, it was a mistake." With his ability to recall everything perfectly Seven was extremely fond of the first night he had met M'gann, the fight as horrible as it had been had also taught him something and it was that part of the memory that he kept at the fore of recall. The two of them laughing at how messed up things had got and so quickly. That and the bond it seemed they had formed in such a short time. It made Seven wonder how different he might have been if the two of them had never met.
"I think we can say we have formally met then Garfield. let my training from you commence." Seven gave the green skinned youth a smile "What sort of things do you think I should learn from you? Do you have any skills or perhaps an outlook that I should consider? Your sister has been gracious enough to help me learn how to fit in better with people, tv shows and similar sources."

"Scaredy cat?" M'gann questioned Gar with an amused expression before continuing. "I was just making sure I stayed out of the way so I wasn't blamed for anyone losing" Gar just grinned and shrugged at her, as she slipped of the branch and landed back on her feet, right before Seven, and once more Gar found himself pondering what was –really- going on between the odd clone and his sister. He felt a little wave of disappointment stir inside of him, or perhaps it was more a hint of sadness… no… sympathy for an old friend who looked like he was getting thoroughly sidelined by this new presence in M’ganns life.
"You didn't bore me at all." M'gann smiled looking up at him answering his earlier statement. "You were impressive." Gar let out a teenagery little snort and rolled his green eyes at his sisters comment, though… he had to admit she was right, and he couldn’t keep his bubbling mood away for long.
“That was fun though!”
M'gann chuckled at her little brother. "Yeah it looked like it was." Gar was bouncing over to them again, as Seven joined in, his attention turned back to Gar again. Good.. keep it like that clone boy!... "I would like to practice more with you, it will be very helpful to me to train with someone with abilities like yours."
It was almost as if Seven had heard Gars mental beration of him, and was deciding to ignore it. His attention constantly seeming to be drawn back to M’gann, and he once more addressed her. "Though I do wonder why we have never trained together, we always watch films or read. That one fight doesn't count, it was a mistake."
“wait.. what fight? Huh.. How did you two meet?” That little bit of information caught Gars attention and the slightly pointed ears where literally perking up as he listened closely. “What happened?! Why did you fight?! Who wun?! Did she kick your ass?! Did she?!” Gar was grinning broadly and bouncing a little on the spot again, the amount of energy he’d used to change his shape into the Rhino didn’t seem to have had any effect on him… He was like a tiny little neuclear reactoer… unexhaustable! Or … at least close to it… when his hypermood reached these levels.
"I think we can say we have formally met then Garfield. let my training from you commence. What sort of things do you think I should learn from you? Do you have any skills or perhaps an outlook that I should consider? Your sister has been gracious enough to help me learn how to fit in better with people, tv shows and similar sources." The new questions didn’t do much to derail Gars own, and he kept his green eyes shifting back and forth between M’gann and Seven. “sure.. totally introduced now. That was Sweet! We can totally do it again. Yeah! Me teach you... eh... Im not sure...hm… I’ll think about it! But! Back to the fight! What happened?!” It wasnt that Gar wasnt wanting to help Seven learn or train, that sounded pretty fun and all kinds of awesome. He'd learn lots too, he was certain of it. ANd if there was anything Gar wanted, it was becomming an even better superhero... But right now... His curiousity was much more demanding... And that sounded like one fun story!

Seven had been talking to Gar about wanting to train more with him when he turned to look at M'gann and address her. "Though I do wonder why we have never trained together, we always watch films or read. That one fight doesn't count, it was a mistake."
"Because the last time we fought I bruised you pretty badly." she chuckled in a joking sort of manner. "I didn't think you'd be so fond of that again. Plus it was more important to improve your reading skills as well as social skills. The fighting you already kind of have a handle on...and what's wrong with movies?" she teased.
“wait.. what fight? Huh.. How did you two meet?” That little bit of information caught Gars attention and the slightly pointed ears where literally perking up as he listened closely.
"We met at the university library." M'gann answered with a furtive smile as she glanced at Seven briefly then back at her little brother. “What happened?! Why did you fight?! Who wun?! Did she kick your ass?! Did she?!”
M'gann laughed at her brother's questions. She should have known this would spark some kind of curiosity in him and she would be lying if she said she wasn't a bit amused by it all and the vagueness of her answers.
"I think we can say we have formally met then Garfield. let my training from you commence. What sort of things do you think I should learn from you? “Sure.. totally introduced now. That was Sweet! We can totally do it again. Yeah! Me teach you... eh... Im not sure...hm… I’ll think about it! But! Back to the fight! What happened?!”
M'gann chuckled at the memory of that night. "It's a bit of a long story but the fight started because Seven thought I was going to take him back to Cadmus. Miscue on my part, I didn't realize he would mistake my action as an attack. Needless to say it turned into a life and death fight that ended up with a lot of furniture being 'moved around' and breaking in my apartment." she continued to chuckle "And well I suppose it would depend on who you ask, as to who the winner was."

"You would have defeated me." Seven said plainly, it didn't bother him. It was a fact. M'gann was far more powerful than he was and at the time he didn't realise just how much she had to hold back to stop from hurting him badly.
"It was a short conflict thankfully and we got back to our evening rather quickly." Since the Martian seemed to be keeping details vague, Seven did the same. That was part of that first evening that he disliked, the sudden rise of anger and need to hurt her was something he disliked recalling so instead he pushed that part aside and focused more on the rest of the things that had happened.
"Nothing is wrong with movies. If I didn't like them I wouldn't watch them." Again a simple fact, Seven avoided things he disliked. Kind of. The fact he found he disliked things was as much of an interesting experience as finding things he did like. Music was one of those things, pop music wasn't really his sort of thing. The clone found the lyrics and composition childish and repetitive but at the same time he found the fact it was catchy and so readily accepted by pretty much everyone fascinating.
Though with movies it was more that he found stories weak or actors unconvincing. Plot holes were a major issue for the clone, with how he processed information the fact that things he watched would leave parts out or contradict its own rules was nightmare material for the guy.
Logic had to be adhered too.
Giving Garfield a curious look Seven continued to address the green skinned youth "I would like to find out more about what you do, I haven't had the chance to spend much time around other males. I feel that in the interest of disclosure that I should make you aware of the fact I read body language." It was clear to Seven that something was going on with the animal shape shifter, the shifts in stance and little changes as the boy had different emotions. From the looks that he was giving to Seven and then M'gann, Seven assumed that it was due to him and Gar's sister. No doubt questions about what they were or what was going on with them. Seven would have liked that answer as well.
"Would you two like some time alone to catch up, I am unsure how siblings do that but I would think giving you both a bit of time to talk alone would be a good. It would allow me some time to explore as well." Seven wanted to give the pair to catch up with out a set of strangers eyes watching their every move. Let them do whatever it was they did and let them talk for a bit. Which would mean he could explore this strange land that held no real buildings.
